12 ounce bottle poured into tumbler
A- pours black as night and is completely opaque. Nice 1 finger creamy beige head with good retention. Small amount of lacing lines the glass.
S- Very pleasant roasted coffee beans with hints of chocolate. Small amount of roasted nuts along with malts and oatmeals and breads.
T- Very dry up front with a nice bitter finish with taste predominately of coffee beans and dark chocolate. The finish is very smooth and is not overpowering like stouts can be.
M- Medium-light body with some carbonation
D- I am impressed by this beer. IMO the drinkability is much higher than other beers from this style. Great brew from a reputable brewery. Well done.
