Pours a deep brown, almost black with a tight mocha head that leaves a a good amount of lacing that slides down the glass.
Smells of roasted coffee notes.
Tastes of good roasted notes followed by a little hops. Malts are characterized by brown sugar, coffee, and some cocoa. Sweetness is present, but just enough to cut the bitterness. Oats definitely add that typical smoothness while adding some depth. Earthy hops round out the beer with a solid amount of bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium-full with a creamy amount of carbonation.
