A - A big chocolaty two finger head looks thick and chunky as it rises above a black brew. The head is dense and creamy, and deposits quite a large amount of lace on the glass. Retention is excellent as the head never dips below a creamy finger.
S - Dark chocolate, cooking cocoa, coffee with cream, and brittle toffee. I can smell deeply roasted cereal grains and espresso beans covered in chocolate. Double chocolate chip cookies!
T - The flavors follow the nose with really fresh chocolate chip cookie flavors and lots of sweet creamy coffee. This tastes a lot like those chocolate no-bake cookies that are made with whole oats.
M - Full in body with extremely creamy and thick smoothness from the very gentle carbonation. This is super dense and creamy! The finish is neutral and very much focused on sweet coffee and cookies.
D - This is a great stout! It has enough bitter coffee and dark chocolate to earn the stout moniker, but it's sweet and creamy enough to keep it from being too burnt and bitter. I like this a lot!
