Wow, what a surprise! I'm a big amber/red fan. I haven't come across one I didn't like, and yet Anderson's came very close! I usually find them absolutely drinkable, but this one had a displeasing sourness.
A - I can't say much about this category. I had this one in a very dark bar (The Mercury Lounge in Goleta) where there is a near void of light.
S - Nice and light sweet, malty, fruity scent. I can't quite nail down which fruit, but it's good.
T - THere's a bit of a sourness in this (the yeast I guess) which I'm not accustomed to in an amber/red. Otherwise the sweet malts and subtle hops is in good combo here.
M - Medium. Subtle range on the tongue.
D - Above average, but I'd grab numerous other ambers before I'd grab this one again.
