A hazy yellowish orange color with a thick off white head. The head disappeared after a couple minutes but tons of lacing.
S hops, citrus, and pine aromas also some malty notes, strong and bitter. All in all its not a particularly aromatic brew.
T up front hop bitterness but balanced by some malty sweetness then back to a bitter ass hoppy finish. The 8.7 ABV warms the palate. Flavors are a little muddled however.
O A great beer. I was more than happy downing 22 ounces of it but it is far from perfect.

This should be a top ten DIPA.
Sharp hop burst at the beginning. Sharp like a good provalone. Middle is big time stone fruit, but still a little tropical. Middle tastes like bitting into a blend of cherry and orange starburst. Finish is slightly drier that I would have liked but this is still amazing.
Not sure why this beer is not raved about. Anderson Valley is soooo underrated.
