12oz can poured into an Allagash stemmed glass.

A - Pours a pale, watery straw golden color with a thick two finger pillowy head that has decent staying power, slowly fizzing away until it eventually falls to the surface. Faint soapy lacing is left around the edge of the glass.

S - Grainy and salty on the nose, a bit of tartness and a bit of earthiness.

T - Lightly tart, a bit acidic and lemony, noticeably salty. Grainy base of malt, rather dry overall.

M - Light in body, a bit watery, refreshingly tart and mouthwatering, salty. Medium high carbonation that is quite tingly and sharp on the tongue.

O - Nice to see more of this style coming around. A decent offering, but definitely not up at the top of the list of the very best around. Worthwhile getting to have a light and refreshing drink for the summer months.

For its price and incredible taste, this has to be one of the very best sessionable beers out there. Other breweries could certainly learn something from Anderson Valley with this beer.

I just tried this Gose beers this summer. This one is pretty good too me. Excellent thrist quencher after a long days work.

Pours a amberish yellow with nice swirling into the glass. Pour finishes with a 1/2 finger white head that dissipates quickly. To me the taste is wate...boom sour! The sour is very present, but not the only thing you taste. Really can't get over how easy to drink this one is. A 32 oz growler is gone within a few min. Good thing is it's also extremely light on alcohol, so quenching your thirst shouldn't kill you.

12 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a big fizzy white headthat goes to a thin film and laces the glass some.

The aroma is lactic (slight butyric) wheaty malts and salt.

The flavor is sweet lactic fruit with some salt and tartness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, nice tart lactic fruit with a bit of salt. One of the better goses I've had. A nice refreshing summer beer.

Appearance: 3/4 inch head, high carbonation, gold yellow in color, clear

Smell: salt and wheat

Taste: big wheat, slight sourness, pilsner malt, and salt--especially on the finish

Mouthfeel: light body, sweet with prickly saltiness, medium-high carbonation

Overall: A solid, sessionable gose. Really appreciate the creativity in this one. I have had better in the style that have the salt a bit more pronounced, but this is a good beer that I wish I would have gotten a six pack of.
