This is a small grocery store that actually has a pretty good amount of space (when speaking relative to how small it is quite a huge space, actually) dedicated to beer. They don't feature many specialty or limited release beers, but you can almost always find regulars from Three Floyds, Founders, Goose Island, and Bells. They do get the occasional specialty brew. I was able to pick up a couple of six packs of Bells Batch 9000. The prices aren't terrible, but they are a little high. I have spoken to the staff a couple of times, and they are knowledgeable about what is coming in, but I have never really gotten into specifics, as I know the products that they have. For a neighborhood spot, this place is perfect.

June 2009: They have moved to 2060 W. North Ave. with more cooler space. I noticed some Founders and 3 Floyds bombers in here, kinda pricey.

Stopped at W Crossings today to check it out, and compare to a few other spots in the area. It was a nice little grocery store, well kept, with most of the beer in coolers to the right side of the place. Noticed Founders, DFH, Gonzo, Ommegang, Unibroue, Goose, 3F, pretty much your local staples with a few quality seasonals here and there. That said, it's a convenient stop in an area that's sorely lacking in quality beer stores. I bought mostly groceries, but would grab a 6-pack or 750 on the way to a BYO restaurant nearby. The service was hands-off, but the guy at the counter was nice enough. He mentioned they would be moving across the street, opposite of Sultan's in the coming months. Also that the beer selection would expand in the new space, but they aren't currently getting new beers in. You may find more import gems down the street at Todds (now closed), and a more upscale/homey vibe at Olivia's for groceries/beer, but the name of the game here is convenience, since it's a stone's throw from the blue line Damen el station.
