Cool vibrancy to the orange pour, 1.5" head looks quite the part. Aroma was minimally hoppy, slightly disappointed by the lack of a better dry hop aroma. My standards are high for ipa's and aroma.
Taste, not bad, ample bitterness, better hop mouthfeel than aroma. Plenty of grassy and pine mixed in there. Good feel of customary hops and a nuance of new (simcoe?). They don't skimp on the bittering/flavoring hops, just maybe the aroma, but there's no dating on the label so who knows. Light enough body.
A good but not great ipa. Worth checking it out when it is $5 or less for a bomber.

On-tap at Henry's Tavern in downtown Portland.
This beer appears a cloudy pale golden hue, with one finger of creamy white head, which leaves a wall of filmy lace around the glass as it sinks away. It smells of mild watery citrus hops, and soft bready caramel malt. The taste is an immediate upgrade, with some bitter pine, citrus rind, caramel/toffee malt, and a bit of warming alcohol. The carbonation is moderate, the body average (my sample size is becoming stats-worthy) in weight, and fairly smooth. It finishes off-dry, but with the hops dictating matters.
It doesn't have to be this way, but it's still nice when a beer gets better as the pint goes along. Good, once the music kicks in.

Hazy amber gold with a very fat one finger of white head. Very good amount of lacing. Aroma is all floral resinous hops. Taste is big bitter pink grapefruit with a very good slug of sweet malts. Mouthfeel is good with just enough carbonation. Medium dry bitter finish. Drinkabilty is good for the style. Well recommended.

pours a coppery grapefruit juice hue with a decent frothy one-finger head that leaves behind ample lacing.
aroma is bright with citrus. grapefruits, lemon. hints of lime. citron. a hint of malt cracker comes through, but the powerhouse of citrus shines.
Whoah. citrus. grapefruits. maybe a hint of pineapple. a touch tropical, but still some interesting earthy, green hops to balance it out. enough malt and sweetness to keep this one from tasting like pure hops. although it's deliciously hoppy.
mouth is smooth, ample carbonation. moderately full body. enjoyable and great for the flavor. nice to have a strong IPA that's not heavy on the carbonation.
this is one impressive brew. interesting hop profile, heavyhanded on the hops but in a deliciously intentional way. Incredibly drinkable... probably a good thing I don't have a few more. Worth seeking out!
