12 oz can enjoy by May/19/24 into a tulip glass.
L: SRM 5 Pours a slightly murky apricot color with a 1" off white plush head, good steady fine carbonation, medium-thick antique lacing.
S: Caramelized malts, orange sugar candy, fruit salad, light alcohol with warming.
T: Lightly tart tangerine, citrus zest, sweet caramelized malts, a touch of honey, pear, ginger, pine resin, a hint of dry yellow fruit bread, very lightly metallic. It has a very long lingering pine finish and is a little bit sweet overall.
F: Very lightly brisk then lightly juicy & smooth with a long and drawn-out tongue drying finish. Becomes more smooth with warming.
O: A big tasting beer. Big feel and a big long resinous finish. It speaks loudly with 100 IBUs and has lovely full tastes. Fairly sweet & fruity. It is pleasant drinking and is outstanding in its style.

An imperial IPA that drinks like a single, to it's benefit. Sadly the focus is on bitterness and booziness. The flavor is a not a shadow of some of the better IIPAs out there

Appearance: Hazy gold, good head.
Smell: Oxidized citrus.
Taste: Pretty sweet, citrus throughout. Mild bitterness. Doesn't taste old, despite being pretty old.
Overall: Pretty old, but no date on the carton. Didn't taste old despite the oxidized notes in the smell. Decent DIPA.

Poured from a can. Consumed on 6-3-2023, BB date Sept 2023.
This is a very clear pouring beer. Golden in color. There's some carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head was 3 finger, at it's greatest. It eventually was 2 finger when I got the whole beer into the glass. The head was white in color. Retention was decent. Some great lacing on the glass.
Aroma is from the hops, as expected. There's a good pine bill in the aroma, as well as some citrus. Both aromas are pleasing to a hop head.
Taste - This beer is a hoppy beer, and it makes sure you know it. The hops start out mellow, but this doesn't last long at all. The hops seem to start out tropical, but this changes quickly over to pine hop flavor, and it builds. The bitterness builds and lingers in my throat.
This beer really doesn't drink like a 9% beer. While full bodies, it's so smooth. Yeah the bitterness does slow me down slightly, but, I just can't get enough of it, and it's going down way too fast for a 9% beer.
I miss the days of a super bitter IPA. This brings me back to the good old days. I am happy, and impressed.

Good beer from a can but feel a bit to bitter for my pallet. The aroma is really nice!

Orange manadrins tangerine all tropical citrus smells with a sweet syrupy body and one of the most grapefruit bitterness ipas out there. Super bitter just what I look for. It reminds me of ruination but might even be more bitter! Top 5 ipas for me

Pours out of the can a darker orange with about an inch of head poured initially rough. Decent retention, with lazy bubbles up the side of the glass. Pretty good lacing as well.
Smells strongly of pine and grapefruit rind. Tastes very much like pine bitterness as the main event, but drifts into the grapefruit flavor after that wears off. Pretty normal for a DIPA to have such a strong hop forward profile, it gets the job done

Look: Semi-clear bright orange with a luscious white head that pillows up and holds, slowly receding and leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Orange, grapefruit, lemon-lime, pine, bready malt, resinous hop cones, and wafts of berries
Taste: Follows the nose well but much more pronounced. Waves of coniferous notes and citrus fruits come on strong, develop depth, and intermingle. Rich bready malt is ever-present and keeps the hops barely at bay and closes with a strong hop bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, and a medium to strong dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. A tasty old-school Double IPA hop bomb that although is plenty malty, it is still, in true DIPA fashion, clearly have hops as the main event. I feel like these folks’ IPA’s hold true to that old-school feeling in general and this is no different. A big, bold beer and perfect for a cold evening’s libation

I can't describe why or how everything comes together, but it just does. The best IPA made. Period.
