My review is from a sampling I did, pre-purchase; unfortunately the beer didn't grab my taste buds enough to entice me to buy the glass.

Poured a deep gold-yellow, with moderate short-lived head.

Little smell to speak of, but on the hoppy side.

Slightly biscuity malty, but mostly dry-hopped, with a flowery-light citrus aspect.

No real tongue presence of 'creaminess'. Only lightly sweet, if at all.

Overall, it was my choice to pass on this one and go for something with slighlty more body . This was probably better than a PBR or Bud Light, though....!

22 oz bomber

Look: Orange color that wants to be copper with no head in sight and no lacing. Lots of carbonation bubbles

Smell: Hints of orange and just a hint of hops which is funny since the name of the company is Hop Valley

Taste: The beer is a tad bit sweet from the malts and has a very slight hint of orange and some honey

Mouthfeel: Light body with lots of carbonation

Overall: It's a very drinkable beer but it is lacking if the flavor department. I was hoping for alittle more orange cream flavor but that is not the case. Overall worth a try

Pours a small half finger head into a standard pint glass. The head is completely white and looks pretty creamy and nice. Lacing looks pretty damn good too. Retention is ok, but there wasn't much head to start out with. The body is a little cloudy, but you can for sure see things on the other side of the glass. It's a yellow colored body with some hints of orange. Overall it's a very nice appearance. For a cream ale the aroma is very nice and hoppy. there is some light malt too, overall it's very balanced between the hops and malts. The balanced remind me more of a pale ale really. It's obviously lighter than a pale ale, but it's balanced. Overall it's a really nice smell, very crisp, refreshing, and hoppy for a cream ale. The taste is extremely smooth, man that's good. Not as hoppy as I was expecting, but a good amount none the less. Malts are well balanced with the hops. There is also a hint of honey in here and perhaps some vanilla, but not sure. Really a great taste, it's smooth, yummy and balanced. The mouthfeel is very nice as well, not as crisp as I would like, but it's very smooth and pretty full. On second thought I guess there is a slight crisp feel, but mostly it's just smooth. Big enough body though. It's a good feel overall. The drinkability is through the roof, it's tasty, light, and it goes down like nothing. Overall this is a very good beer, and it's a nice interpretation of a cream ale. Not as hoppy as I was expecting, but good and tasty none the less. It's also balanced and it has a good mouthfeel.

It's a little watery once I got to the bottom of the glass, and the lacing didn't hang with me forever, but it's still a really awesome beer.

Thanks to Tyler for grabbing this for me. Poured into 10oz glass. Poured a typical light golden yellow color with a 1/2 inch of white head that below average retention and lacing.

The grainy aroma was typical for the style. The taste was pretty average, grainy and smooth. The body was decent, typical for the style. Drinkability was OK, not bad, not great.

Overall, an average example of the style, worth trying if you see it, but probably not worth seeking out.
