Pours hazy gold with one finger of white head. Minor lacings.
Smell is grains, some minor floral hops.
Taste is malty sweet with a decent amount of bitter hops.
Mouthfeel is fine, carbonation is adequete and medium bodied.
Overall a better choice than macros but slightly let down compared to Hop Valley's other styles.

Served from the can into a pilsner glass

A- Poured a very clear light golden color with tons of visible carbonation with soapy white head that left chunky lace

S- Big pilsner malt, lemon, sweet graininess, creamed corn. Pretty sweet aroma

T- Very sweet creamed corn and graininess. Some lemon notes. Very sweet flavor profile.

M- Very high carbonation, medium to lighter bodied, mostly dry

O-A very sweet lager, a little too sweet for me. A pretty simple tasting lager, not too much going on.

Pours a bright golden color with a one-finger head into my glass. I've heard good things about this brewery from a friend.

Sweet and grainy malt in the nose. Not much else is there. Hopefully, there's more to the taste than that.

Ditto on the taste. Very sweet with just a touch of crispness. Buttered bread comes to mind as well. I was hoping for some hops to balance it out but to no avail.

Flavors linger at the back of the throat. Carbonation is mid-range. Goes down alright.

Not a bad attempt at the style. The sweetness of the malt might turn off purists though.

Appearance is a light golden yellow forming a fair head that dissipates leaving sparce lace. Smell of very light hops and malt. Taste has a metallic bitterness that is not balanced with the sweeter malt. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. This lager is not enjoyable and needs a little work.

On tap at Hop Valley, 5.13.11, $4 pint in shaker glass.

White head small bubbles, medium slow dissipation with significant lacing over clear straw yellow body, multiple streams of carbonation. Nose is clean, munich breadiness, floral hops, Taste mirrors nose. Mouthfeel is a bit on the light side of medium, pretty good effervescence. Not the most interesting beer, but well crafted, clean tasting, sessionable.
