On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon.
Medium amber with excellent clarity and a very good head. Patterned sticky lacing.
As one might expect for a beer made in Oregon, this is a hopped up version of the style. A bit more malt than usual too, assuring that this stays only mildly bitter, and that the hops appear with bready malt flavors.
Medium body and crisp carbonation.

A: Hazy and yellow-gold. White head, sticky frothy foam that left a free dots and clung around the edge of the glass.
S: Grassy and hay. Citrus, predominantly grapefruit. One trick pony.
T: A little honey sweetness up front followed by an even smaller amount of coriander spice. Nice bright acidity and hop follows with a lot of green lush floral notes and citrus from lemon and lots of grapefruit again. Reminiscent of a fresh hop beer with such dominant brightness, floral and chlorophyll notes. Those flavors are hard to develop!
M: Grapefruity hoppy aftertaste... yet again. Thin, but smooth and refreshing. I felt it was well balanced.
O: I really liked this beer. I didn't get that much honey from it though. My primary gripe is that it loses points by being mislabeled. I would have called it a pale ale instead of a blond, though honestly it probably lies somewhere in between. I love the good sharp grapefruit flavor and fresh hop flavors are my reason to live in September. Not much depth besides the hops, but who cares if there's only one flavor profile if it is done very well.

Served from the bottle into a becker glass.
A- Poured a orange golden color, tons of streaming carbonation, fluffy white head left chunky lace.
S- Lots of honey sweetness, cereal malt, and not much else.
T- Lots of honey sweetness, medicinal notes, and wheat bread.
M- Medium body, soft carbonation, and fairly smooth.
O- Not much going on flavorwise and a little sweet for my palate. Not a beer I would get again, but certainly drinkable.
