A: Pours a dark orange body with three fingers of white fluffy head. Retention is decent with some lacing.

S: Loads of bready malts and hops. Some citrus notes, but not to strong.

T: Following the aroma, there is loads of earthy hops mixed with a balanced breadiness. Hard to pick out any fruitiness here.

M: Medium-light bodied with loads of carbonation. The texture was froathy and left a very bitter aftertaste that lingered for ages. Alcohol is not noticeable.

O: Good brew, pleasing and tasteful, but I felt the carbonation could be toned as well as have some more malt character.

Pours amber with a large head.
Nose shows floral hops, fruity confectionery, toffee, diacetyl notes. Not particularly hoppy.
More diacetyl as a flavour along with some spicy hops, light sweet malt and a sharp but plain bitter finish.
Carbonation seems a bit full on.

Not the beer for which I'd hoped from a brewery that I respect so much. Bottle picked up in Montreal this morning.

A good looking beer with an excellent hop-forward aroma and a nice malt backbone. But the flavour is not as well balanced, and is missing the citrus and tropical fruit elements that are more present in the aroma. It has an impressively bitter finish, almost sharp, but starts with a surprisingly sweet caramelized malt base and the transition is not as smooth as I'd choose.

Appearance: It has a beautiful golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves very nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of bready malts, caramel, floral/grassy hops and a touch of citrus.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has a bready malts, some caramel, alot of grassy hops, some floral notes and faint citrus.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with decent flavors and aromas.

A:
Pours a hazy orangish-gold with a creamy white inch of head. Good retention; excellent spider web-like lacing.

S:
Malty sweet hop aromas with some citrusy/green apple aromas and a soapy twang.

T:
Strong, sweet, juicy hops. Tinge of medicinal bitterness at the end. Green apples and biscuity malt flavors abound.

M:
Medium (bordering on light) body with soft carbonation; fairly creamy.

O:
Not a bad IPA, but far from my favorite. The hop flavor comes through good but is a little too sweet for my tastes. Fine looking, though and it drinks nice. Would have again, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Served from a 341ml bottle to a shaker

A: Perhaps a tad darker then straw. Close to blonde. One finger of head with moderate retention and lacing.

S: Fresh cut grass and citrusy fruit.

T: Grassy and citrusy fruits are dominant in the beer and are very pleasing and well done. Grapefruit is very present. Small amounts of sweet malts are also available. The beer is pretty balanced and easily drinkable. Bitterness is maybe a bit low for what I'm used to in an ipa too. Perhaps a bit of spicy hops as well.

M: Carbonation might be a bit low for my liking but its okay and doesn't make the beer too filling.

O: Pretty decent beer overall. Nothing astounding but it was a good experience and I enjoyed it.
