Atmosphere is probably the best attribute of this bar. It is located right in the heart of Shibuya about three blocks up from the Shibuya crossing and the giant Starbucks. It is on the second floor on top of an AM/PM and MOS Burger. Irish style bar with wooden fixtures throughout. 2nd floor patio seating is the price choice, overlooking the busy Shibuya streets.
Service was good, but if you are visiting, know that this is like many places in Japan, you pay for your beers and food upfront, no tabs.
Selection is lacking but atmosphere makes up for it. Guinness, Kilkenny, Yebisu on tap and then several Unibroue bottles.
Food is good but not great, regular pub fare with a few Japanese odds and ends.
Overall, the atmosphere and the second floor balacony makes this a visit for travelers. You can at least have a Killkenny, which you cannot get in America.

A - This place is parked right next to the bustling cosmopolitan center of Tokyo youth, Shibuya, right next to 109. The atmosphere is a mix of Irish pub and Japanese izakaiya. There are 10-15 outside chairs and seats for 30-40 inside each more or less divided by short walls to maintain semi-privacy. There are a few old TVs showing soccer or old movies and some background music.
Quality - Is about what you'd expect from a small pub in an expensive part of town
Service - For Japan is pretty poor, compared to the West however you won't be too disappointed. Frequent Western customers mean the staff understand basic English and will take your money but won't welcome you with lavish praise. All payments are cash only up-front. Pretty standard in places with lots of "foreign" ( I mean Western) visitors.
Selection - Not fantastic. 6 beers on tap. Only three imported. Guinness, Kilkenny (bought out by Guinness), and Murphy's Irish Stout. Try the imported Quebec bottled beers. Very nice. Maudite by Unibroue is my personal favorite.
F - Food is mostly a Japanese chef's take on pub food. Well maybe not that bad, but there are a few small twists. Fish and chips and chicken and chips are both very nice, but use the Japanese bread crumb batter. I recommend the nachos + extra cheese. Not tex-mex but still very nice.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Japan last fall. I'm not a big fan of Japanese beer, so I was curious as to what we would find to drink aside from sake. This little gem was an accidental find while roaming the streets of Shibuya. It looks extremely out of place amongst the busy streets of Tokyo, plus its located on the second floor of a set of buildings. However, this became our nightly stop towards the end of our trip. I mean, a person can only drink so much Yebisu before they crack.
The selection wasn't great, but they had Kilkenny on tap which is what we pretty much stuck with during each visit. They also carried Unibroue and a few others such as Guinness, Smithwicks, and some select Japanese beers. Much to my surprise, the bar is actually tended by two Irishmen. Very nice with very heavy accents... which became refreshing after hearing and speaking nothing but Japanese for two weeks.
The food was good and the prices were fair. Everything is expensive in Tokyo, but this bar was pretty reasonable. The second floor balcony offered a great view of the city as well as a much needed escape from the crowds.
It brought back a little taste of home when we really needed it most.
