Appearance: not great clarity, a little murky, brownish red and with a nice creamy tan head
Aroma: definite caramel and bready ness that is cut by delicious pine notes.
Taste: a deceptively malty taste that carries strong caramel and bready flavors, a slight toastiness, and some delightful pine notes to balance. Very well balanced and with a strange complexity that american ambers seldom can achieve. I truly enjoyed this beer
Mouthfeel: smooth, slightly creamy, mouthfeel with medium carbonation
Overall: Great and surprising complexity of caramel and bready flavors complemented by nice piney hop character. One of the best amber ales I've ever had.

poured 16oz can into a Duvel tulip. Gotta thank Ken for this.
A - Dark rust red with a 1 finger light khaki head. Fades quickly and leaves just a trace of a ring with spotty lacing.
S - Sweet Amber malt with citrus and fruity hops. Some nice bread, biscuit, and pine round it out.
T - Starts somewhat sweet with bread, biscuit, and caramel malt. Floral and citrus fruit hops take over in the middle, then sweetness again. Finish is a nice grapefruit with a bitter pine bite.
M - Medium body with some carbonation. A bit sticky with a good bitter finish.
O - This resembles Oskar Blues G'Knight and that is a good thing. If you are looking for an Amber with a decent hop presence, this fits the bill.
