The colour is jet black, the two finger head is compact and brown. It sinks slowly leaving no lacing.
The powerful smell is dry and malty with lots of pumpernickel. It is smoked and a bit sour. Roasted flavours, hints of charcoal, lactose and roasted meat.
The taste is very roasted with mild smoked flavours of delicatessen. Pumpernickel bread and a touch of mint. Quickly passing sourness. Medium body. The aftertaste is smooth with some alcohol and burned flavours of charcoal and burned rubbers. The finish is clean with roasted flavours and smooth bitterness.
The carbonation is mild, the mid-sized bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth and dry.
This is a very clean and focused Baltic porter. Not bad at all.

500ml bottle. Shaker glass. Pure black color headed by tan, creamy, rocky & lasting crown. Aroma profile shows figs, coffee, black cocoa & intense herbal aromas. Burnt malts, hints of banana & sharp floral bitterness. Full body. Soft carbonation. Oily texture. Ripe plum into a long bitter finish. Amazing!!

T- Chocolatey and smokey with a decent amount of dark fruit. Finishes on the bitter side with dark chocolate and char.
M- Medium-bodied, smooth, creamy feel.
O- A very nice Baltic porter, very tasty stuff.

Recently stumbled across my notes from The Festival 2012. Lets do this!
A - Poured a nice dark deep brown with tinges of red with a solid one finger mocha head that left very nice lacing.
S - Aromas of nice dark roasted malts, chocolate, burnt caramel and toffee, with a faint nut finish.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with dark bakers chocolate, flashes of coffee, molasses, sweet sugary malts, faint bitter finish.
M - Mouthfeel is nice, light carbonation, silky smooth.
O - Overall, a solid porter from Beer Here. Well done.

A: Pours a dark brown with a towering fluffy medium brown head. Head fades away at a moderate pace. Pretty decent fluffy lacing left everywhere. Quite good head retention too.
S: Interesting dark fruit aroma mixed with chalky ashes. Get some raisin, some prunes and maybe fig too?
T: More sweet dark fruits up front with some chocolate and char. Sweetness fades out of the middle and becomes bitter baker's chocolate, acrid char and a little smoke. Finish is a bit chalky and dry, mostly lingering char.
M: Medium bodied, smooth.
O: A nice example of the style. Certainly on the ashy, acrid side of the genre but nothing too out of control. Decent flavors and balance.

Pours black with a small tan head.
Nose shows lots of roasted malt, cocoa and dark chocolate liqueur. Pretty tempting.
Similarly rich flavours, while still keeping things drinkable. Roasted malt, coffee liqueur, finishes quite sweet.
Could use more carbonation.

A dark cola with ruby highlights with just a thin film but it’s a top filled pour, leaves lace where the foam existed
S sour plums with lots of coffee, chocolate, and smoke, smells rich with both coco powder and bakers chocolate, slightly nutty smells great
T more of the same with some charred wood and more sour fruit that’s pretty standard for the style, good taste but lacking some of the smells richness
M silky with enough bubbles to give it some life, thin for the color but it’s a lager after all , nice lingering dark roast aftertaste
O pretty solid stuff with well concealed booze, if the smell followed through for the rest of the beer something amazing would result, this ones just really good
I didn’t know what to expect from a random offering at the bar but I’m pretty glad I took the chance.

Pours the darkest kola hue which leaves a two finger mocha laced head and lacing everywhere.
The smell is dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, burnt toffee and roasted nuts.
Tastes are dark rich chocolate, boozy alcohol, strong black coffee, molasses, brown sugar and finished off with a good whack of hoppy bitterness and warming alcohol very similar to a boozy irish coffee.
Full bodied, creamy, silky smooth with nice moderate carbonation.
Overall i really like this its a beautiful balance of sweet dark malts and bitter hops with a lucious mouthfeel and yeah id buy this again without doubt, above par Baltic Porter.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ & Brewing in Long Beach, CA.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy khaki head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots and streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and smoke aromas. Taste is much the same with a medium amount of roasty bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a great aroma and a tasty flavor.
