Excellent food and extremely good beer selection. Draft beer selection is diverse and second to none.

Great tap list, sampler is a heck of a deal with 4 5.5 oz pours for $6. Nice little bottle list but you are paying a premium to purchase at a bar. Food looked good but I didn't have anything.

Great beer selection--some rarities and sometimes they bust out a keg of some really tough to find stuff from time to time--even sneak it out with no fanfare (Foothills Sexual Chocolate was a surprise). They offer samplers and bartenders are knowledgeable.

Atmosphere a little thin. Kind of sports bar like and in a mini-mall. Food is not the reason to go--average pub fare with some winners here and there (Cuban sandwich was a winner).

This is a beer site--not the family joint with great beer. More like the great beer joint to hang out with a couple of friends.

Few specialty events like Founders night, etc are well attended.

I love Duckworth's. They have dark beer on tap, pint nights, flights, and food. The atmosphere is definitely a bar first restaurant second. I prefer to have a 50/50 mix. Duckworths in general has upscale bar food. They do serve some non-standard bar foods like salads, BBQ, and pizza. I do feel that the food prices are a little high $10-15/plates, but I am very cheap and have very high standards. Beer prices are on par with what I expect everywhere else. I am willing to pay in order for Duckworth's to maintain the beer selection they have. They are the standard by which everyone else is rated.

This location does have some issues to resolve. This includes parking, service quality and speed. I have had amazing service including beer knowledge at an amazing level, but I have also had servers that were very green.

I drove 3 hours specifically for the Founder's Throwdown event. I'm a craft beer newb, but Breakfast Stout was my first favorite, so this was like Christmas. It was the middle of the afternoon on a saturday and a large event was going on, so seating was limited, but wasn't really an issue. My group of 3 found a spot in the two-sided bar island.

Beer event was well organized, lots of rare or hard-to-find Founders beers. It was organized by Curtis, the beer coordinator. He ended up hooking me up with a free DFH Chicory Stout, which was a nice bonus to the day's events.

Selection was great from what I saw. I could have drank all day and had something new every time off of about 60 taps. Didn't see the bottle list.

Food was good, but not outstanding. Some interesting sandwiches, but otherwise standard upscale tap house menu fare. Better than anything I can find in my hometown, though.

Very close to Brawley's, a natural one-two stop for a traveller in the area. Although the layout reminds me a little of some Taco Mac locations (big central bar, loads of TVs, etc) there was a surprising number of families with kids when I visited. All the adults seemed to enjoy good beer selection, at least based on my casual glance.

Craploads of taps, 50-60 I'd estimate, and all were serving good craft beer. Major breweries represented included NC (Big Boss, Duck Rabbit, Foothills, Olde Hickory), other USA craft (Allagash, Brooklyn, Ommegang, Oskar Blues, Terrapin), and a few internationals (Gouden, DuPont, Van Honsebrouck). Twice as many bottles, again all were solid.

Decent prices on most drafts, a little high priced for bottles.

Was refered to this place by the guys at Brawley's, down the road a quarter mile.

First impression, this place looks like more of a sports bar than your typical dark beer bar. But, the 60 taps on the wall quickly help you spot you're in for a treat.

The beer menu of tappers and bottles is both extensive and impressive, I was lucky enough to come across a day when they had Oskar Blues Vanilla Bourbon Barrel Old Chub on tap. How many times have you seen that one?

The night I was there, they had $3 taps (only a handful of exceptions) which apparently occurs every Tuesday and Thursday. The four sample flights are very generous and the staff is incredibly knowledgable.

A great place to drop by if you're in the area and want to visit a beer bar that only carries the god stuff.

Much like a beer style, opinions of Duckworth's will likely vary depending on what it is a costumer is looking for. If you want dark and cozy, Duckworth's doesn't do that. Duck's is more of a brass and glass type establishment, with lots of flatscreen TVs; it's a great place to watch a game. They could use a bigger bar though, it gets crowded in a hurry.

What do they do well? Well, food for one thing. Their fajitas are fantastic and will easily fill two people. Also good: subs, wings, pizzas, steaks... even their salads are on the money.

What do they do great? Beer. 60 drafts - every one of them a high quality brew & twice a week the vast majority are $3 (which includes tax).

Their events are quickly becoming the stuff of legend. For example... last years Stone tap takevoer featured 40 drafts:

2007 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine
2006 Stone Old Guardian Barley Wine aged in Bourbon Barrels

A recent Founders food pairing had 12 Founders drafts, including KBS & five others from their Backstage Series. Last weekend: Event Horizon tasting with the 2010, 2011 & a 2011 cask.

The best beer, period.

My brother, my best friend, and I had the opportunity to spend a Friday night (dinner and Event Horizon release) and Saturday am (bottle release and a wonderful breakfst! Thanks guys!)

What a wonderful experience!!! Truly a great time. Met the owner and the manager...who thanked us many times for driving down to attend and check them out. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable...top notch! You can tell that they are a tight knit group and that the employees love working there!

Food was very good...better steaks than we actually expected from a taproom (we ordered both the sirloin and the ribeye) Fare was fairly standard for a taproom...yet showed some extra care and creativity. If you like nachos, you will LOVE their fajita chicken nachos...THE BEST I have ever had!!

The beer...ohhh, the beer...over 60 on tap and maybe another 60 bottles. Their tap/bottle list is accurate and has many, many world class brews. Best quality selection I have encountered. You can get a "paddle" of any 4 beers from the tap selection (4.5 oz each)for only $6. So many choices...so little room in my stomach!

Thanks again to the owner/manager/staff of Duckworth's for an incredible time!
