Poured from 12oz clear bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: medium golden hue with no haze and a strong effervescence. Head is a finger of pillowy white foam with decent retention. Actually not bad for the style.

Smell: sweet and malty with relatively low adjunct character. There also appears to be an element of noble hops present; for the style, I can't complain too much. I'm also quite impressed with the lack of skunkiness, especially coming from a clear bottle.

Taste: a bit too sweet, with a little graininess. That said, it's relatively free of off-flavors and even demonstrates a little bit of hops. I'm quite pleasantly surprised.

Mouthfeel: light body with a big fizziness and a large but ephemeral creaminess. Good.

Overall: this might be the best-tasting, most refreshing mass-produced adjunct lager I've ever had. What's with all the hate?! It's drinkable as hell. If I could find this stuff around consistently, it would be my #1 tailgating beer.

Color is a typical straw yellow with a decent and firm, though typical, white head. Crisp, malty aroma has a fruity undertone, typical for this style. Flavor is malty - and rather insipid. Smooth texture has little body or fizz. OK, I had to try it just for something from Honduras.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: There are light aromas of sweet adjunct malts—corn and rice seem to stand out in particular.
T: The overall taste is a bit sweet and has notes of corn and rice from the adjunct malts. There are some slight hints of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and not too watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite good for an adjunct lager and doesn’t need a lime added to it to make the taste more palatable—the bit of sweetness is what makes it taste better. This could be a refreshing beer in a tropical environment.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and just a hint of particles in suspension (I'm guessing this is yeast). The beer has a finger tall bright white head that reduces to a thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a couple of small thick dense patches and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet adjunct malts - mostly corn and rice adjunct aromas. Very light smell of grassy hops.

T: Very similar in taste to the smell but a little stronger. There is a moderate presence of corn and rice adjunct malts with a fair amount of sweetness. Very little bitterness from the light amounts grassy hops.

M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp yet thin and watery.

O: This beer is very easy to drink and significantly better than comparable American BMC brands. This beer is sessionable and would be a great beer for sitting on the beach and drinking.
