Clear light golden yellow color with a thick soft cap.
Aroma is clean light citrus with a faint biscuit note and no sweet or malt notes.
The flavors are the tangerine and grapefruit with some flowery notes, really light and clean all around. This is how IPAs are supposed to be. Clean and almost mute backbone.
Mouthfeel is medium-light for being 7.5 abv.

This would be a great IPA to have hanging around.

12oz bottle from the 7.9.14 batch, enjoyed out of a teku

A: this looks absolutely radiant in the glass: bright golden orange with faint hues of copper. not much head or lacing, but very bubbly

S: great blend of aromas. there are notes of candied oranges and marmalade, and notes of sweet, peppery onions or chives. all of that is tied to a thick, concentrated smell of piney, resiny hops.

T: grapefruit pith, some of those candied oranges from the nose, and juicy, resiny hops. the finish is dry and bitter.

M: star of the show. it's light and refreshing, but creamy, smooth, and full-bodied. pretty much the epitome of a beer that's flavorful, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable.

O: this beer is proof that all is not lost in Ohio

12 oz bottle. Date of 07/14/14, just under a week old!

A: Clear copper body, with a strong pour it produces a finger of head. Decent retention.

S: Yup. West coast hop bomb. Tons of citrus from the "C" hops I presume. Top of its game.

T: Delicious hop flavor, more of that citrus. A fair amount of bitterness as well. Very similar hop bitterness to a lot of Stone IPAs. Light malt backbone that keeps this one pretty dry and bitter towards the end. Classic American IPA.

M: Good for the style, moderate carbonation. Soft. Wow.

O: Delicious IPA. Definitely worth the hype, at least when it's this fresh.

I poured it into a glass, it has a gold color body with a small head to it. The aroma has a piney smell to it. The taste is in your face hop explosion. Pine notes and slight bitterness follows. The mouthfeel is good, well balanced and leaves a hop aftertaste on your tongue.
