A: Peach-orange in color. Very slight haze. Forms a moderate ecru-colored head that leaves a copious amount of lacing on the way down.
S: Was very aromatic when I first popped the bottle, but seems to be less so now. However, what remains is a heady mix of citrus, orange, and tropical fruit.
T: The flavor is also very nice. Pale malt backbone with a touch of sweetness that plays nicely with the juicy citrus, and tropical fruit hops. Some juicy fruit gum.Turns more towards grapefruit on the backend with a mild pine resin bitterness.
M: Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Mild-to-moderate bitterness. Fairly dry on the finish.
O: A very nice beer and a fine example of the style. I've got to admit I come across my fair share of average IPAs - it's a crowded field - but it's always nice to still be able to find new and well made examples of the style.
