Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter.. acquired as an extra in a trade.

A- Pours a hazy bright orange body with a 2 finger white head that reduces fairly quickly but leaves excellent lacing.

S- Floral and citrusy.. not overly potent but definitely invites a sip, what's there is nice. Subtle pine and resin too in the background.

T- Yummy yums. Upfront is a blast of tropical and citrus fruits, balanced with a lightly sweet malty backbone that gives way to a resinous bitterness that lingers for a bit.

M- Medium-low carbonation, medium-light body, pretty drinkable.

Overall a well done DIPA. The balance here is excellent and the hop profile is quite tasty.

12 oz. bottle poured aggressively into a 500 mL Unibroue tulip. Bottled date is 06 Dec 2013. This stuff is the freshie-fresh, barely 4 days old.

A: Clear, dark gold hue with 3 fingers of sticky egg-white foam leaving spotty lacing the entire way down.

S: Citrus. Oh, so much citrus. Aromas of piney grapefruit and and lemon peel. Malt aroma is basically absent.

T: Huge initial blast of citrus and pine tree, middle is extremely clean with suggestions of caramel malt. Finish is a long-lingering beta-acid hop bitterness. They definitely nailed the hop bitterness spectrum with this one.

M: This brew definitely got a bit cloying as it warmed, but this only detracts ever so slightly from the rating. Initial 40 degree temp left very little after the fact other than dank, hoppy aftertaste. IMO the sweet malt undertones that revealed themselves at around 50 degrees definitely enhanced the brew and gave it some much needed depth/complexity.

O: Can't do much better. I was remiss to not rate this beer when I had it bottled literally 16 hours before. It was amazing them, it remains amazing even when it's *JUST* 4 days old. Freshness matters people.

Color is transparent orange, but hazy. Nose is citrusy and great. Taste is citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, pine. This is sweet, but not overly sweet, just right. The mouth is slightly creamy, which tames the citrus astringency just enough to make it perfect. This beer is more like an Imperial than an IPA so I enjoy it in a snifter, and sip on it. Could be the perfect beer. Hoppy, but the hop bite is a soft bite. Awesome. Bottle.

Appearance is a golden yellow color with a two finger head.
Aroma is sweet pine, and floral.
Flavor is pine, little malt backbone and citrus undertones.
Dry mouthfeel with a lingering bitterness on the back of the palate.
Solid ipa for sure. Reminds me a lot of two hearted.
