Flavorful, pretty heavily-hopped like current west-coast style quad-hopping (I am currently judging all IPAs by the standard of having experienced Heady Topper). Carbonation is a bit on the aggressive side. Overall a pretty well balanced IPA. Not an Imperial but very drinkable. I liked the beer, and the friendliness of the brewery.

Had this beauty in a mug at Fat Head's in Pittsburgh.

Hazy orange color with a healthy creamy white head. Average retention and minimal lacing. Smelled chock full of herbal and floral hops and the woodiness coming from a cask ale. Taste was quite hoppy with a strong oakiness. Very good. Creamy and smooth. Wanted more, but there were others to try.

Poured Head Hunter into a Belgian Tulip.

A - Pours a clear golden orange with a full two fingers of white puffy head.

S - You can smell this IPA while its being poured. Look out. On first sniff getting pine, grapefruit, some malt as well. Hop resin in there too.

T - Geez, the HOP monster blows my doors off. This thing is ridiculous. Over the top hop bomb. Extreme bitterness, pine needles, grapefruit. This thing is probably over my palate. Just strong bitter hops fill my taste buds through and through.

M - Not bad here, medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation. nicely smooth as well.

O - Yeah, its recommended; however, watch out Hop Heads this thing is serious. Enjoy! Cheers!
