Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a willibecher. This was bottled on 03/19/2014 - 1 month ago.
Appearance: Pours a translucent medium amber/gold (not very hazy) and leaves a finger of white head which fades relatively quickly to a white layer atop the beer. Carbonation can be seen floating to the surface.
Smell: Big resin, malts, some citrus. Pleasant, balanced IPA aroma.
Taste: Taste is much bigger than the smell - big piney hops, resin, bitter citrus rinds, grapefruit, malts. Still pretty balanced, with big hop flavors.
Mouth-feel: Well carbonated with a medium, slightly creamy body. ABV is hidden well. Finishes a tad bitter.
Overall: A nice, delicious IPA with big, tasty hops. Very drinkable. If this were available in my area it would definitely be a go-to.

A- Dull copper with a 1 finger white head. Lacing is soapy
S- Ruby red grapefruit, tangerine for sure, and some melon. Not overly juicy, but clean and inviting.
T- Follows nose, but takes it up a notch. A bouquet of citrus and fruity hops up front, then a wave of doughy malt. At first you think it finishes smooth, but then a fashionably late bitter tone comes nocking at the door late...giving that "west coast" style it claims.
M- Mid body, clean, crisp, no booze.
O- Impressive. Just a really, really well done IPA. I will certainly pick up more next time I have the chance.
