Bottle dated 10/22/13 but my distributor just got it!
At reefer temp into goblet.
Aroma a nice mixture of citrus and pine.
First one head was 4 cm, second one 1.5 cm, both into clean goblet.
Head off-white, creamy, mostly diminishing into approximately 3 mm layer, then into lasting islands.
Lacing good, forming continuous half rings as the level drops.
Body is medium orange, with chill haze.
Flavor begins nicely piney with no hint of malt or diacetyl.
Flavor ends with an long hang-time astringency.
The body is medium, oily, and has a nice soft carbonation.
Overall, an excellent example of the American IPA, much more aggressive than it's English ancestor.
