Overall 88/100

While I love 'Fat Heads' and think they make world class brews, I had this up against a few Columbus Brews (Bodhi, Creeper) I have to say this is a tad overrated... I love their Hop Juju, Trail head and Hop Stalker, plus everything this brewery (Saloon too) does. Just not sure if this is the 'King of Cleveland IPA's (That's White Rajah IMO) That said its still very enjoaybe!

Draft poured into shaker pint

A: nice fluffy white head, amazing clarity, great clarity, lacing like you wouldn't believe

S: spicy, piney, herbally a little bit of grapefruit

T: very herbal moving into pine then wraps up with some grapefruit spicy and bitter

M: very nice not too heavy but heavish for an IPA

O: this beer is quite good I have a love hate relationship with it because I drink it soo much I find it common. But sitting here reviewing it it is quite good

Pours a clear golden amber color. Has a strong resinous piney aroma. This beer smells of dank dank hops. This taste is a tad weaker than the smell which threw me off a bit. Lots of pine and grapefruit and it lingers the perfect amount. Overall this is a great IPA, and at 7.5% it's pretty high for a non-imperial IPA, and the alcohol is masked very well. I'm glad Ohio has more great beers than I can count, including this one.
