Poured fro Growler into Pilsner glass.

Pours a nice golden yellow with a slight haze.
Big head giving way to some lacing along top and sides of the glass.

Smells slightly malty with a big hop presence.

Taste is what I expected, nice maltiness up front, very crisp finish with lingering hops. Not over the top with the hops but they let you know there there!

This is one beer that I could drink all day, nice light, refreshing pilsner to quench your thirst, but enough hops to keep me satisfied with out being overwhelmed on a hot day in the yard.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 5/28/2013. Pours lightly hazy pale straw color with a nice 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a thick cap that lasts. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, pear, grape, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, light pepper, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, grape, pepper, cracker, bread, light honey, floral, grass, light pine, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy herbal/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, grape, pepper, cracker, bread, light honey, light pine, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of hop, malt, and yeast ester flavors; with good robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a really excellent German Pilsner style! Great balance and robustness of hop, malt, and yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

12oz bottle poured into Oxbow glass, thanks Greg (uvm2003) for sending this. Date is stamped on bottle but smudged.

A. Pours a bright yellowish golden, thin white head forms that quickly subsides, minimal carbonation, faint lacing.

S- Lemons, pilsener malts, wheat, hints of grass, slightly on the floral side. About average aroma strength, definitely a little on the hoppy side for a pilsener.

T- Slightly bitter lemon juice with pilsener malts hiding underneath, slight hay and wheat, finishes with a slight lemon acidity and lingering lemon juice.

M- A little bit on the light side, fairly drinkable, a little bit low on carbonation, crisp but not nearly as crisp as a lot of pilsener's I've had (which is what I like best about the style).

O- This was a decent interpretation of a Pilsener that was slightly on the hoppy side with the lemon juice really coming out. Definitely worth trying, but there are some other pilseners that I'd much rather have.

12oz bottle into a pilsner glass. The brew appears a hazed golden yellow color with a rich 3 finger white head. The cap slowly fades leaving a full curtain of lace sticking to the glass. A swirl effortlessly revives a finger back to the surface.

The aroma is grassy and herbal with a zesty noble kick that is somewhat lemony. A dry bready grain inclusion comes in across the back as it warns with a soft touch of fruity alcohol. As it warms, a swirl releases some sulfur and cheese to footy grain aspect.

The flavor is dry with plenty of zesty and pithy hop bitterness. Quite herbal to grassy with a grain backing that is fresh tasting but without any residual sweetness. Almost a lemony rind flavoring across the back as well. As it warns, minor sulfur and cheesy grain evolves with a hint of fruity alcohol.

This is a light bodied brew that is moderately carbonated. It is crisp, clean, easy drinking and overall just exceptionally done. Would drink again and really liked this considering the past couple pils I had were letdowns.

A - Pours a bright yellow gold, crystal clear, and with a rocky white head; moderate amounts of carbonation.

S - Lemon grass, crackery malt, and lightly spicy.

T - Lemon peel, light honey crackery malt, spice, light grass and a little floral on the back side, finishes with a lingering bitter lemon peel bite.

M - Sprightly carbonation on the tongue and crisp.

O - Lives up to the name, nicely hopped for a pils.
