Served from a 12oz bottle into a Lost Abbey Teku. No freshness date.
Appearance- Clear amber with no head but mild lacing around the rim of the beer.
Smell- Pine and grass with some tangerine and peaches. Nice mix of earthy/floral and fruity.
Taste- Great balance of malts and hops. Caramel, vanilla, peaches, pears, citrus, grassyness, pine. Good balance, But I like Head Hunter more.
Mouthfeel- Pretty full bodied with low-medium carbonation. Resinous and big, but with no heat.
Overall- A good double IPA, but Head Hunter is so much better. It's good, but I just don't see the hype.
