Been drinking all spring as I was able to get a couple cases in February. Fabulous beer with wonderful citrus flavors and fantastic finish. I did have one on tap at Fats Heads about 2 years ago and it had a nice head and went down smooth. Not too bitter but enough for me as I like bitter beers.

Had on tap. Big juicy DIPA. There's a sweetness that takes off some of the hoppy edges, while still remaining abrasive enough to remind you it's a DIPA. Delicious

Poured from a 12oz bottle, courtesy of @Iron79head into a tulip glass:

Appearance: pours a orangy-amber body, with a super sudsy and lingering head. Leaves tons and tons and tons of lacing. Mostly translucent, perhaps a little bit of haze in there.

Aroma: grapefruit and citrus mostly, little bit of sweetness. Juicy hops dominate.

Taste: following the aroma, it's mostly citrus and juicy hops, though there is a little bit more sweetness than I'd prefer, though this is a heavy DIPA so that's to be expected....flavor-wise, I got grapefruit, orange, and some pineapple. Lots of bitterness on the finish too.

Feel: full-bodied and creamy, with a super smooth finish.

Overall: a really good, super-hoppy IIPA!

Bottle: Poured a deep yellow color ale with a nice foamy head. Aroma of juicy hops with nice citrusy notes and loads of tropical flavours. Taste is an incredible mix of juicy hops with loads of tropical flavours, some light residual sugar notes and some floral finish with almost no bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Wish I could have access to this beer on a regular basis.

On tap at Growler Guys.

A clear light copper with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is pungent and dank with pine, weed, grapefruit pith, orange juice. Malt character is minimal. The palate opens bitter and pungent with pine, grapefruit, weed, resiny and dank with a pronounced bitterness. Minimal sweetness is present. The mid palate has more oily bitterness and pungency. Butter and oily on the finish, this is a light bodied DIPA that's delicious. Recommended.

Amazing smell. Tastes of dank hoppiness. It's in your face and takes two or three turns to appreciate. But once you figure this one out, it's the only thing you want to drink. Wish it was available year round. Similar to Head Hunter, but amplified on all levels.

Brilliant transparent copper color. Fluffy white created through a vigorous pour. A bright, citrusy aroma rounds out the simple nose of this beer. Smells absolutely delicious to all the hopheads out there. Piney, citrus, floral, mango and tropical fruit hops dominate the flavor. Its body is nice and medium bodied. This is a wonderful beer, get it whenever you see it.

Pours a frosty, hazy golden amber. Lovely imperial IPA colorization. Foamy white head with a fair amount of lacing left behind. Juicy citrus, resin, and tropical hops with a dab of honey. Really powerful aroma. Yum! Pine and resin hop notes right off the bat in the flavor. Super juicy, incredible citrus and tropical hops behind. Nice and balanced and leaning on the sweet side. Mouth feel is full and filling. Slightly harsh carbonation on the back end, but otherwise great. Overall, a juicy, hoppy IPA that doesn't singe the tongue with bitter hops. Leans a little sweet and is easy to drink. Might be a bit dangerous with that combo at 9%, so be aware!

Served in a 12oz snifter.

This is one of the best Imperial IPAs I’ve ever had.

(L) It has a clear amber hue with a slightly off white one inch thick head.

(A) The aroma is pleasantly fruity and piney.

(T) There’s some citrusy caramel malt back bone, and lots of pine, grapefruit, tropical fruit, dankness, all very well balanced. Normally I would think 100 IBU is too bitter for me. Well, the 100 IBU is all there but it is a very pleasant dank “topnotch IPA” kind of bitterness.

(F) Despite the IBU it’s smooth and crisp and I did not notice the high alcohol level. It is very juicy and easy to drink too fast. It is a top notch Imperial IPA in my opinion.

Poured into my favorite Lost Abbey long stim tulip bottled on 2 / 08 / 16. Pours a beautiful orange with a 1 inch sticky white head that clings to the sides of the glass like my children there chocolate Easter Bunnys.

Smell is mango, marijuana, papaya, tangerine, pine pitch, and some grapefruit.

Mouthfeel is large for the style, moderate carbonation which is perfect in this case, maybe a little dry, and excellent drinkability.

Overall this is one of the most dank beers I have ever had and as a former pot head I know dank. Thanks @WesMantooth for this amazing overall DIPA.

Look: the beer pours a light gold color, with a slightly off white head, and some great carbonation, alcohol legs are there and great glass lacing.

Smell: I get some tropical fruit and citrus initially, some earthy dankness, and with a swirl some malt sweetness and possibly alcohol.

Taste: citrus, slight tropical notes, and a stronger malt base than expected. There's some resinous notes prevalent in the second half.

Feel: Medium mouthfeel, with good carbonation, and a slight bitterness in the finish. The mouth isn't as drying as I would expect.

Overall: I received this as an extra, and I would say I would take it as an extra, but not request it. The hop profile isn't as juicy as I would prefer, but is a nice double that covers the alcohol well.

Crisp clear amber body bordering on having an orange-itude to it. Small tight white head recedes to it's corners and colonies fate.

Nose is rich and juicy. Tropical fruits meet with juicy citrus and a bounciness that is almost reminiscient of bubblegum. I get that in a lot of big multiple-IPAs and I've never been 100% on where it comes from. Huh.

These same trappings of juicy sweet fruits dance blithely over a brutally bitter core of primarily pine but a sprinkle of citrus pith. These two bitter cornerstones intermingle through the finish growing and dancing in and out of one another through the last lingering aftertastes.

Tiny pricks of carbonation are abundant helping to usher in the sweet prelude and mask the bitter seriousness held underneath. Medium light body but clean and crisp.

Another fantastic Ohio brew from the ever-generous @WesMantooth and his BIF #3 box. Thank you!!

12 oz bottle was poured into a tulip glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is anorange color with great clarity and vision of tiny bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Lemony, tropical, citrus, herbal, stone fruit, caramel, and bready malts.

Taste: Nice hop flavor with balancing malt bill and tingly bitterness in the rear.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, medium bodied, tingly light bitterness, medium carbonation, and light warm alcohol.

L: Nice amber/gold color.

S: Light, hoppy aroma. Nothing too distinct.

T: Very well balanced. Just enough hop bite, but great malt presence.

F: IMO this is where this beer excels. Excellent mouth feel. Thick, almost creamlike.

O: 4.75/5. One of the best DIPAS I've had.

L - pours a dank, dirty amber. The kind of color you'd expect to find a cricket in at your local history museum gift shop.

S - bright juicy tropical fruits up front. Heavy on the guava and mango. Some light pine in the back.

T - dank pine up front, but not the dreary morbid kinda dankness. More of a cheerful fresh resin punch. Sweet bubblegum and citrusy caramel. An absolute TON of hops. Hits hard from every direction. Monster pine notes, but also lots of balancing juice. The 100 IBU hides itself quite nicely until the very end, leaving a puckering bitter lasting impression. Hot damn.

F - definitely feeling the high alcohol. Low on carb and high on viscosity, but somehow isn't syrupy. Well done. Fluffy and smooth. So pleasant.

O - this beer has it all! Juice, hops, flavor out the wazoo. Many different stages and all of them are awesome!

The bottle was given to me as an extra in a trade, the date was scratched off so I'm guessing it's either past or close to past for it's prime consumption period. Regardless of this fact, this beer is the definition of a perfect IPA by my books and it shows clearly why it has won two gold medals at the GABF. I'm not going to jump into a detailed explanation of why it's so heavenly delicious, instead I want you to go out there and find it and drink it for yourself. Prost!

Picked Hop Juju up in Florida and it was hard to find.

Pours a clear amber bright beer with a nice head a plenty of lacing.

Smells citrusy and amazing. I can smell this imperial for hours.

Love the balance and citrus notes coupled with plenty of hops and the right amount of bitter.

Feels crisp and refreshing.

Overall - might be one of my favorite imperial IPAs I have had. I wish it could find this in the DC area as I would buy it often. Great offering for beer geeks who love a hoppy citrus offering but still balanced and complete. Have 2 left and can't wait to drink them.

Very tempted to give this one a 5. Aroma was super fragrant grapefruit. Look was a golden-caramel. Taste was very hoppy/piney with the slightest sweetness. Taste stays with the pallet for a lil bit. This is everything I want in a DIPA. Fabulous. Hard pressed to find a better aroma/flavor combo.
