Smooth feel and smooth flavor. Almost seems like a dry Irish stout with some coffee in on the mix. Bean seems appropriate as a descriptor. Very full and earthy coffee tones. It's an easy drinking beer that's well done. I like it.

Has a sweetness and a bitterness from coffe that balance this beer. Also has additional carbonation which is just perfect

On tap at Swillburger/The Playhouse in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasty coffee, cookie dough, vanilla spice, and chocolate.
Though this was a touch thin, the coffee flavor was so warm and inviting. There’s lots of chocolate, too, and some light spiciness/roastiness.
This is somewhat light bodied, but nicely creamy, with a good level of drinkability.
This is solid if not unspectacular.

Obtained in trade with @somethingclever. Poured into glass stein (or as I call it, my beer coffee mug). Standard dark appearance, brown edging, frothy head and lacing. Smell is rich, roasty espresso and malt with a subtle chocolate background. Taste is roasty malt, mildly bitter coffee, semi-sweet chocolate. A little thin and lighter bodied than I hoped, but it’s not oily at all, and it’s a super easy drinker to the point where I’m having a hard time leaving any to warm up to see how it tastes at that point. Damn fine coffee stout.

Black in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a fingernail of beige on top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is plenty of dark, bitter roasted coffee. I’m tasting dark chocolate and bitter, dark roasted coffee. The mouth is dry and oily.

Black coffee color with tan cream in thin band fine bead
Smell is sweet bean Aroma with hint of bakers chocolate and mild roast scent
The feel is very smooth with mild roast and bitterness balanced by sweetness with slight alcohol in finish
Taste is great like cold brew with cocoa and roast yet smooth bitterness and subtle caramel malt sweetness mostly coffee dominant with clean yeast and minimal spice as it finishes semi-dry
I loved this it is a smooth blend of coffee infused in a very drinkable balanced stout the alcohol is hidden by sweet bean flavor

Pours a very dark mahogany with a slight tan head with significant lacing. On the nose gets lots of cold pressed roasted coffee with a very slight hint of toasted malts. The taste is a complex mix of roasted coffee, chocolate milk, cream, toast and some sweetness. The mouthfeel is a full coating across the board, light carbonation. Very little heat or bite from the alcohol level which is nice. The boys and girls at Fathead have come up with another very nice brew.

From the Fat folk in a growler and served in a snifter via Jungle Jim's
Eastgate. This mighty fine stout pours a rich blackish brown with
cola highlights and a very nice head of off white foam that subsides
to a thick ring, thin fluffy layer, and displays some VERY nice soapy lacing.
Nose of heavy dark roasted coffee with a hint of bakers chocolate amongst
touches of char and brulee. Flavors nail it with char and roast getting
friendly with rich coffee and dark sugars with bittersweet chocolate
malts. Light touches of cream are there but nothing overpowering
the near perfect bitter malt and coffee elements. Excellent mouth
feel; medium full body, medium carbonation that gives some substantial
lift to this fine concoction with a nice roasted and bitter malt finish
that is moderately dry.
An excellent brew from the good Fat folk up north.
Getting to really like this brewery more and more.
Need to visit someday soon!
Cheers!
