Award-Winning Session IPA with big hop aromas, flavors of citrus, peach, orange and tropical fruit with a nice light malt backbone. This is a very drinkable session ale. (Our fans call it an obsession.) Peace, Love & Hoppiness!

Hops: Chinook, Centennial, Citra, Mosaic
Malts: Pale, C-15, Cara-Pils

poured out of a 12 bottle into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a clear, medium golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles continuously rising to the beer's surface. The creamy, fluffy looking white head is about an inch thick when first poured that settles to a very fluffy, thick surface coating with quite excellent lacing indeed. Aromas of citrus, lemony, zesty, slightly grainy hops and a bit of malts here too. Flavors of citrus, lemony, floral, zesty, grainy hops upfront with hints of peach and pineapple that gives way to some crispy malts with nice hints of caramel sweetness. Strong bitterness here for sure for a session IPA. Has a crisp, yet smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a clean finish and slightly dry after taste. A good session IPA here all around. Certainly worth a try.

This may be the best session IPA I've tried so far. Grassy and sweet, very balanced nose and the flavor keeps you coming back for more!

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb+ of eggshell colored head. Good head retention & lacing

S: Citrus & tropical fruits

T: Tangerine, dryness, a little grapefruit, a little grassyness up front. Grassyness, limes, a little dryness &a little green melon once warm. Finishes dry with citrus, green melon & grassyness

MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation, decent balance

Solid Session IPA, not the biggest fan of them

Lightly sparkling slightly darker gold with a short off-white head that retains okay.

Exhibiting lightly toasted biscuits, pine needles and orange piths, this one's softly round and infinitely crushable.

I had this pre-2015 and gave it a bad review. I hate hops quite a bit less these days than then, so this redo is in an effort to do this beer justice.

Huge foamy head, murky/hazy dark amber color. Had an off, metallic smell which I don’t think was just from the can. Flavor not bad, only slightly hoppy, but still tasted flat. I liked that it was lower ABV.

(12 oz can, canned on 04/14/23; purchased cold single at Pinocchio's yesterday... poured into a fat tulip)

L: crystal-clear, orange-amber liquid; two-finger tall glossy foam, tight and lumpy... the head doesn't hold long; little flecks of lace

S: citrus gummies, spicy overtone, lupulin gland concentrate, Airhead taffiness, hint of toasted caramel upon cereal... bit of a vinyl background note as it goes... bright, clear aromas; great expressions

T: acidic grapefruit-lemon zip up the middle, orange zest oils along the sides... flavorful, despite noticeable reduced alcohol... toasty malt in the background giving enough of a foundation to support the relatively intense hopping

F: soft, smooth, slick... subtle spicy heat in the aft; just enough umph (in alc and hop bitter) to avoid a thin, watery feel

O: pretty good low-abv IPA; excellent hop combo and ratios and I suppose conditioning, allowing the concentrated flavors to cut through cleanly (2148)

Great name after the legendary Grateful Dead show. Hazy orangish gold with a big persistent rocky head. Smell is mild fruity hops- somewhat tropical. I'm getting some beery malt in the nose as well- in the nose in the finish. Nice fruit hop profile but with a good bitterness in the finish. Slightly rounded slightly toasted malt in the finish. Excellent for the low abv, one of the best tasting sub 5% abv's I've tasted. Medium to light bodied. Very drinkable.
