On-tap at Fat Head's in N. Olmsted, Ohio
Pours golden with a fluffy eggshell white head that leaves great retention and lacing. The aromas are dank and full of peach and mango. There are also hints of grapefruit and lemon zest as well. Flavors are very bitter. Tons of citrus and pine resin. It's pretty astringent. There are subtle hints of caramel malts, but barely. West-coast vibe going on. Nice use of mosaic hops. As bitter as it is, it's extremely easy to drink. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied; active carbonation making it creamy and smooth.
Another awesome beer from Fat Head's. I've had this before when it debuted and was impressed then as well. It has that signature Fat Head's twist on it. Well done.

On-tap at the Fat Head's Pittsburgh location, served in a typical British-style pint glass, drank 4/9/13 over one hour.
A: 4.5 - golden appearing, fair clarity with slight hop haze, white one finger head lingers for a while eventually dissipating into glass lacing, moderate alcohol legs
S: 4.75 - wow, great tropical fruit aroma from the Mosaic HBC369...mango, papaya, pineapple, melon...reminds me a LOT of the aroma of Lagunitas Sucks
T: 4.75 - very subtle bitterness on the anterior tongue, which really allows the hops and malt complexity to shine through --> pine, resiny, spicy even without dank flavors admixed with subtle biscuity and fruit sweetness; again, this tastes very similar to Sucks
M: 4.75 - moderate body, creamy, moderate carbonation
O: 4.75 - as you can see from my accompanying review of Head Hunter IPA, this drinking session and reviewing process taught me much about what I like and don't like in IPAs; in short, bitter, dry IPAs just don't appeal to my taste buds and olfactory cortex; I am very thankfully that many breweries are now making these more tropical flavored/low IBUs IPAs/DIPAs, and this is an excellent example; it also sparks an interest in using Mosaic ASAP in a homebrew!
