Arrived just as they opened on a Sunday morning. My buddy got a sampler right away and I had a Fat Scratch (collaboration with Tröegs). All the beers we had were excellent (Head Hunter, Yakima Sun, and Christmas Ale). The sandwiches were really good with the fresh fries and chips. Service was really good always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Place was nice and clean and it was cool to see all the beer awards on the walls. There were a couple of TV’s to watch which was nice. Beer samplers were very well priced and the perfect size!

Really cool place to visit. The selection has good and the brick over pizza was really good. Worth the trip if you are in the Cleveland area.

Fat Head's is a fantastic venue for beer in NE Ohio. There is an extensive list of Fat Head's beers ranging from light (e.g. Duke of Lager, Bumbleberry) to heavy (e.g. Hop Lightning, Hop Juju, Bonehead Red) as well as an always changing guest tap list. Additionally, the bartenders are exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. The only point of improvement would be to add some more healthy food options.

Great place with a huge menu and a nice selection of craft beer. Food is pretty good and the beer is great. Always something for everyone. Can get extremely busy at times. Try their brick oven pizza with a Headhunter IPA.

F'ing AMAZING.....this place is a must stop. The beer and food were outstanding. Our server was very nice and somewhat knowledgeable. The spicy pulled pork was sweet! They had 20 of their own beers on tap plus many guest beers......great place.

The biggest let down was waiting an hour and a half to get a table. But, that worked out for the better as we spent the whole time eating kick ass pierogis, drinking kick ass beer, and playing miniature bowling. Ill admit my gf beat me 3 out of 4 games. Guess good beer doesn't equal good bowling. But all in all, a GREAT place.

This place is the real deal. Got a sweet tour of the brewery and was gifted with some under and over poured bottles on the house. I bought some sweet merch and a growler of hop juju. What a bunch of awesome people they have at Fat Head's!

More of a resturan then the brewery itself, but still has a great tap list and everything on the menu is delicious. Wish they'd build one closer to where I live.

--My Yelp review.--

Being a huge fan of craft beer and always looking for something new, I knew I'd be an absolute dumb ass for going to Cleveland to see the Tigers beat the Indians without stopping in North Olmsted to eat and drink at Fat Heads.

At around 4pm on a Saturday, the place was pretty packed. We walked through the place to be escorted back outside where our table was. The place has a great aesthetic and is surprisingly big, but would it hurt to have a little more lighting? It was almost like a theater in there. Regardless, I'd love to revisit and stay inside... just not when the weather is so perfect outside.

I wound up getting a sample of five beers (you can pick as many as you want, and the Cuyahoga burger. We also split the Bavarian pretzels and the Frickles. The Frickles were well received as the breading wasn't a soggy mess like at some places, and the Sriracha dipping sauce was great. The Bavarian pretzels are also really good, but some didn't care for the spicy honey mustard dipping sauce -- wimps! It tasted great and had a nice heaty kick to it. As for the beer (I mean, it IS a brewery...), I got Prohibition Pauly Porter with Coffee, Goggle Fogger, Trail Head, Angels for ALS IPA, and Bumbleberry. No, I didn't get their critically acclaimed Head Hunter IPA because I bought a four-pack to bring home and enjoy. As I figured, all the beers were good or better. I'm not usually huge on fruity beers, but the Bumbleberry is the perfect fruity Summer beer.

The food came out surprisingly fast despite how busy the place was, so the guys and girls in the kitchen know what the hell they're doing. I got my burger cooked medium and that's just how it came out. As for the thing as a whole, I've had better burgers, but the value of the thing is ridiculous, and it's still a really enjoyable one. There's a good portion of pork, spicy BBQ sauce, and jalapenos. Really, I like really spicy food, and this made my nose run a little bit. I wasn't expecting it. Messy, but not too messy -- the buns they use really help with that.

I'd be a fat, fat person if I lived in the area. The menu is loaded with options that basically all sound fantastic, and the portions are absolutely huge... I was one of two at the table to finish our order, and I wasn't exactly comfortable after finishing it either. There are a bunch of items on the menu that I'd like to try next time I'm anywhere around Cleveland.

This is a great craft beer place. I have also heard that the food is very good but have not tried it yet. Fat Heads is a stand alone building with a really, really cool atmosphere. They have branded it well and make it seem like a unique experience. The beer selection is phenomenal and the service is good as well. Highly recommend.

I stopped in with a coworker before heading to the airport to fly home. I'd had their Head Hunter at a bar and wanted to check them out.

What a fantastic atmosphere! The space is huge but every inch is authentic and comfortable. The decor is fantastic. I love their logos. I think it's a great celebration of all of us with fat heads.

The beer lineup was pretty extensive with quite a few of their own and several guests. I went with an IBUsive (fantastic) and a Hippy Sippy IS (good). The menu is huge and so hard to narrow down but I went with the Cuban Burger. Between the burger and fries, the plate was huge. The roll and toppings of the burger were outstanding but unfortunately the burger was overcooked and somewhat dry. But overall I enjoyed the meal.

I can't wait to get back for another visit!

Fat Heads makes some outstanding beer. They have a top-notch selection of their own beers and guest taps. The guest taps typically include some rare stuff. The food is great - huge sandwiches, wings, etc. My only beef is that it is always crazy-busy. Hopefully now that they have opened a separate tasting room, the wait times will be shorter.

My buddies and I were super excited to hit this spot on our way back from a road trip to Chicago. We are big fans of their beers- have gotten to try Head Hunter, Hop Juju, Trail Head Pale and others at GABF, and were enamored with the marketing and quality of liquid.
We ordered pretty much everything on the menu (beer wise), and flights were pretty well priced. $1.50-2.50 per sample, with some amazing and high ABV beers in there. Our favorites were: Hop Head, Centennial Wheat (hoppy wheat- almost an IPA), Trail Head Pale (amazing! should be classified as an IPA...), Duke of Lager (Marzen- amazing), Starlight Lager (Helles, and goddamn these guys can make a lager...), Pimp My Sleigh (Strong Dark Belgian, 9+%), and Goggle Fogger Hefe (I was a big fan, buddies weren't; pure bubblegum).
We ended up buying a case of Head Hunter to go, as well as a couple sixers of Holly Jolly Christmas ale, which was a nicely done Winter Warmer. We are big fans of the beer here, but similar to our trip to Willoughby, if you didn't sit at the bar, it seemed like more of a family restaurant rather than a Brewpub. It could pass for a John Harvard's, except with WAY better beer, and better selection. Overall, a much better experience than Willoughby, although I wish they had Hop Juju on tap... but Trail Head Pale totally made up for it. Kicking myself for not grabbing a growler of this or Starlight Lager, but fresh Head Hunter should do the trick!

On a trip to Cedar Point with the girlfriend we made a point to stop in OH to visit Great Lakes and Fat Head's (neither disappointed). Fat Head's was second on the agenda and it was about 9:30pm by the time we arrived and were able to get in right away and sit down for a couple beers.

The waitress brought over a menu, but we weren't to interested in food having just come from GLBC so we grabbed the lengthy beer menu and took our time. I saw two wet hopped beers ('tis the season!) so grabbed a Hopportunity Knocks, while the lady went with a Spooky Tooth Pumpkin Ale. The Hopportunity rived some of the best IPAs I've ever had and would compare it to a wet hopped version of Zombie Dust with more and rounder bitterness. amazing. Spooky Tooth was good in small doses, lots of pumpkin flavor but not the overly spicy, cinnamon, all spice bomb like some pumpkin beers can be.

Our waitress came several times to check how we were doing and made sure we were never left dry. I ended up getting 2 4-packs of the Head Hunter IPA to take home and will defiantly make it back here in the future.

This is among the best craft beer places you will ever find. Can't say anything bad about this place. Great selection of food and beer which can be a tough combination to come across. Great selection of craft beer and the beer they brew themselves is as good as anything else out there.

I was excited to get to FH's because I had sampled their work @ GABF and met several of their brewers there. Suffice to say that anything these guys put out is eminently drinkable. I had to have the Head Hunter IPA, which is both grand and glorious, followed by a very hoppy Pilsener [in my mind, the salvation of the style] and a superb Porter. Their place is very busy and if you need some quiet, get one of the tables in the back, away from the bar. The menu has got something for every palate and be forwarned: the portions are generous. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. As Ahhnold used to say, "I'll be back....!"

If you ever find yourself in North Olmsted, OH (outside of Cleveland), then you absolutely need to do yourself the favor of visiting Fat Head's. Delicious beer, wonderful atmosphere and an immensely hospitable staff. Undoubtedly, one of my favorite brewpubs/breweries/restaurants in the country...did I mention they brew the award winning Headhunter IPA? Fantastic!

Fat Head was sort of a mixed experience. My wife and I found the bar to be very comfortable once seated and a couple drinks in hand. Its a family place where people go to get hammered. Sampled a lot of Fat Heads beers. The house beers ranged from a chore to drink, cant remember that beers name but it was the India Imperial Barley wine (Hop Thunder?). Other beers IBUsive and Up in Smoke gave me an excellent beer drinking experience. The service was spot on once you got a seat. Getting a seat could be a bit of a pain. The beers available covered a wide array of styles. Guest taps available generally seemed to be excellent, Doom, Enjoy By ---, Breakfast Stout and the like. Not a bad beer drinking experience. The food left a lot to be desired. The food came in a couple flavors bland, burnt and unacceptable! I wasn't that hammered that substandard food could be passed off. Have some drinks and go eat else where.

Great brewpub. The food is killer and the staff is tons of fun. They offer 12 or so of their own beers on tap but still have a bunch of other craft beers on tap.

Can't wait to go back when the next selection of beer is on tap. Favorite beers from last night were the Head Hunter and the Sorcerer.

Just finished up a tour of all the Breweries in Cleveland and Fat Heads was easily the best in the area. The beer, food and service was tremendous. The building was very clean with lots of room for gathering. Some of the best beer in Ohio with a very big selection. Could very well be the best and nicest in the state.

Excellent food, with an outstanding menu (and HUGE portions, which make it worth the money). They have an excellent and diverse beer menu...In my opinion, this is, bar none, the best brewery in northern Ohio, if not the whole Great Lakes region. I live near Cleveland, Ohio, but I've been to many breweries in Ohio, some in Illinois, Some in NY, and some in Ontario. So far, this is my favorite brewery in the U.S. I first fell in love with beer in Austria and Germany in 2007, with their Hefe Weissbiers...in 5 years, I have never tasted a Weizen Bier as close to a TRUE Bavarian Hefeweizen in the U.S. except at Fat Head's, with their "Goggle Fogger", and "Alpenglow" biers. THE BEST Weizen biers in the U.S. that I've tried...Give them a try! ....cheers! :-)
