Pours a hazy pale straw hue which leaves a two finger head that slowly recedes to leave a rim of lacing, the smell is kaffir lime, bananna, vanilla and bready belgian yeast, suprisingly the mouthfeel is alot creamier than usual for the style but to be honest i like it and suits the tastes of lemon zest, candied wheat, apricots, doughy bread, bananna and belgian yeast all to combine nicely for a better than average Witbier especially for an Australian brewery as i have to admit nice Aussie made Wits are few and far between and not often well executed but this is definately a step in the right direction cheers.

Honey straw with a strong haze. White head is massive, and continually supported by a vigorous bead. Eventually abates to a ring and slight film. No lacing.
Very typical Belgian nose. Moderate spice, grapefruit and lemon pith, floral honey and a smattering of candy cane and banana. Rather nice really.
Similar flavours, although the sweet esters are a little more prominent.
Body is thin, compensated slightly by above average carbonation. Finish is a touch astringent, but overall it's pretty pleasant.
Nails the style good and proper. Highly drinkable and on par with any Belgian Wit I've tried. Kooinda is definitely one of the most promising Aussie brewers around for mine.

This pours very cloudy with a tightly packed bright white head.
Strong spicey yeast aromas. Very sharp on the nose. Bit of coriander. Bit of banana.
Similar flavours on the palate. A touch of sweetness but finishes dry.
Full, creamy mouthfeel.
Like this one. Quite sessionable.

330ml bottle from Beermasons poured into a Lost Abbey tulip.
Pours 85% foam, 15% liquid. White foam that turns out large craters as it falls. Some lacing. The liquid is a pale golden and a touch hazy.
Smell is spicy, coriander early and plenty of orange peel all the way through. Just a touch spritzy in the nose with all the carbonation.
Coriander works in well with the yeastiness of this. Consistent delivery of these two flavours.
Mouthfeel is spritzy as well. Plenty of carbonation, too much. Gives it a little bit of thinness at times.
Good solid witbier save for the carbonation issues.

Pours gold with a massive head fed by lively carbonation.
Nose shows orange peel, vegetal-like coriander, doughy wheat and some spicy phenols. Perhaps a bit heavy-handed with the orange peel.
Flavours instead focus on the coriander, with the doughy wheat showing soon afterward. The finish is slightly metallic.
Carbonation is much too high.

330mL bottle room temp into mug
Spicey yeast nose. sharp
Nice haze, pale straw with schwarzenegger level carbonation and slight lacing after several minutes
Particularly good spice, medium orange notes, slight coriander and yeasty notes
Mouthfeel dominated by carbonation, metallic finish
Interesting take on a wit, spice best part, carbonation the least

The rep was promoting the Kooinda range at a function last night. All the beers except the black IPA had a background vinegary infection. Ugly froth was coming out the bottle before I touched it. Couldnt drink my $9 bottle of the stuff.
