A: Pours dark, almost pitch black into the glass, when held up to the light you can see some blood red notes in the color. High head colored with tones of brown. Sinks away slowly and you have to wait a bit.

S: Dark chocolate with flavor of cherries, cacao, flake salt and also hints of, wooden cask (?).

T: Smoked bark, burnt wood, a light tone of acids, like someone has spiced it with orange peel. Hints of wooden cask as well.

More carbonation than I had expected but still pretty vague, nice mouthfeel but surprised regarding the acid as well?

This beer has received some stick that I know of, but I find it a pretty decent brew.

A really black beer, a medium brown head with some lacing.

The smell is dark roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, a hint of smoke. Some sweet caramel.

The taste is smoky, coffee beans, bitter hops.

Medium carbonation, smooth and drinkable.

A nice relaxing beer.

The colour is pinch black; the two finger head is warm brown. No lacing.

The smell is lightly roasted and sweet with lots of creamy buttery flavours, lots of fruity hops with a chemical hint. Strong, balanced and inviting.

The taste is roasted with notes of coffee, caramel and a mellow sweetness. Hoppy notes of dried fruits, wax crayons, bitter almonds and rolled oats. The aftertaste got an elegant growing bitterness, a mild sweetness and some warming alcohol.

The carbonation is mild to medium; the soft bubbles are large. The liquid is mid-creamy.

A very good interpretation of the American porter style.

A - Pitch black with a huge brownbeige head that stays a while and leaves no lacing.

S - Roasted malt, floral hops, some hints of coffee and chocalote.

T - Roasted almost burned malt is dominating the flavor, coffe and chocolate, a bit smokey and lots of refreshing floral hops.

M - Mid creamy and mild carbonation.

D - A nice american style porter.

A: The pour is pitch black with an enormous long-lasting dark brown creamy head that leaves lots of lace when it finally dissipates.

S: Coffee, chocolate and floral hops (American style - citric and piney). The malt is heavy roasted almost burnt. A smell of smoked ham is also present.

T: Strong black coffee together with bitter dark chocolate. Dry roasted malt (chocolate?). Floral hops (American style). Complex.

M: Full body and moderate carbonation. A rather short after-taste that holds a bready dryness.

D: A nice beer. A nice Swedish version of an American Porter. This one I'll buy again!
