I stopped in here at about 5:30 pm today after shopping at Amoeba Music right across the street and before heading up to Blue Palms, I immediately noticed the cool decor when I first walked in, lots of wood and kind of a landscape feel in there, took a seat in the bar area towards the back and looked over the taps that totaled up right around thirty or maybe a little less, some of the beers included Aventinus, Telegrpah Reserve Sour Wheat, Port 3rd Anniversary which I had a glass of for six dollars, and yes they serve their various styles of beer in proper glassware, other beers included Alesmith Lil' Devil, Kostritzer, Speakeasy Hunter's Point Porter, North Coast Brother Thelonious, Rogue Chocolate Stout, and Stone Russian Imperial Stout, their bottle list was small with about fifteen offerings maximum but it had a few cool things inlcuding Cantillon Lou Pepe Kriek priced at a whopping thirty-nine dollars, also Fantome Printemps, Allagash Confluence, and Malheur Brut Noir, I had the Margherita pizza to eat and while it was pretty good, it was nothing special either, a little overpriced at twelve dollars, it is rather small portions too, oddly you can egg to it for a dollar more, did not have the bravery to attempt that one, pizza seems like the way to go here based on what I have heard from other customers and recommendations by the bartender, place was super clean as expected since it is brand new, there is a lot of room in there and also lots of potential, service was weak and some of the people working there needed to get over themselves, that aside it is a nice addition to the LA beer scene and I look forward to see what becomes of it in the future, also good to hear Ryan from Verdugo is running things as far as beer goes, cannot go wrong there, will go back, worth checking out

I have been a supporter and defender of this place in both its incarnations and was probably the first beer geek in the door when they re-opened at H & H, so I was especially annoyed at my recent treatment. We went during Happy Hour and altho the menu indicated that all beers were Happy Hour prices and said nothing about exceptions, I was charged full price for my beer. I pointed it out and the bartender--who has been the bartender virtually every time I've been there- only said he needed to update the menu. I know it's only $2 but it really is the principle. I'm not a regular but I go there as consistently as I go to any beer bar in the area and I don't like to be baited and switched like that. So, to get that $2, he's lost not only my business but my encouraging others to try the place even if seemed touristy and not beer geeky enough. You may think I'm just an old crank and I won't disagree, but really, would you be content to be treated like that?

Visited 10/8/11 around 6:30 before the Blink-182 show with the wife.

Atm- A lot of wood, leather and dim lighting. A nice upper casual feel with an inviting decor.

Quality- When you look at the tap list, it's not the deepest nor is the bottle list but what they do have on tap is quite all over for country and style. Made it pretty easy to pick a few beers to do the "Flight of the Heavens" pick 4

Service- I don't know if it was because it was a Sat. night but service seemed a bit sluggish. Out waiter came after a good 7-10 min wait but was attentive while he was at the table.

Selection- I'm dropping the points down for what they have in terms of numbers not beers themselves. About a low number of taps makes it easy to have some good breweries on tap. FW, Bruery, Ommegang, A'Chouffe, Weinstephaner.

Food- I went with the Boho burger and it was damn good with that mayo they make. Wife had the thin pizza with home made sausage.

Value- This place was a bit pricey being in a high $ area of Hollywood. For a cup of soup, salad, 2 dinners a flight and a drink for the wife was almost $100.

Went late on a saturday night, made it in about an half an hour before midnight closing.

Since they were closing soon, we didn't eat anything, nor did we have an opportunity to take much of a look around. So, cant comment on food or decor.

Brew wise, i think they had probably two dozen or so taps. They have a name your own flight for $11 so I opted for that. The pours were about 5-6 ounces. The cool thing about the flight was you could select any of their beers without anything additional for bigger beers. I went with FW Parabola, Allagash Curieux, SN Ovila Saison and d'Achouffe La Chouffe. Can't remember many of the other choices, but they did have Sculpin.

Most individual pours were $6-8.

Service was quick and friendly, maybe because we were nearly the only people there, but no reason to deduct any points.

I'm rarely in Hollywood, but would make Boho a stop whenever I am.

Went here a couple times when out in Hollywood for a conference.

Definitely go during Happy Hour (4-7 weekdays, 2-5 weekends) when all their beers are $5.

Great selection of beers, with the taps rotating pretty frequently. Had both Stone 2011 AND 2010 RIS on tap, with other great California options.

Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, food is good. Great selection of beers.

Overall, it's not the best place in Hollywood to go, but it's a great place if you want craft beer, especially at a good price and convenient location.

First time coming to Boho not without some trouble. Like a fool I wandered around the Arclight plaza without realizing the restaurant was on the corner! Oh well, still made happy hour!

Very nice wooden, American contemporary decor complete with comfortable couches, wooden tables, brick, and a few large flat screen television. Floors were very clean and the ceilings were very high.

The tap-list was not very extensive, but it represented a large variety of styles, supplemented by a larger bottle list. While the prices were good for happy hour discount ($5), they were on the pricey side normally.

Food was definitely a plus with some high quality gastropub fare, and the waitstaff was very responsive and friendly, even if the bartender didn't don a smile at all times.

Boho is certainly worthy of a stop for a nice dinner complemented by a nice brew. As far as people are concerned, it was pretty dead early Cinco de Mayo evening so I can not comment on that aspect of the atmosphere. I would, and probably will, come back for a meal sometime soon.

Stopped by here with a CA BA after a few beers at Blue Palms.

Atmosphere is phenomenal - I don't remember all the specifics but I remember thinking I was at an arboretum with couches and lots of glass. The bar is fairly large with rich furnishings. The path to the bathroom goes behind the bar and rare bottled beers are visible behind a glass partition.

Quality is good. All beer was served at the proper temperature with good amounts of head.

Service was good. We arrived just as they were about to close and the bartender was a bit surly but still managed to be friendly enough. We didn't ask any beer-related questions so I can't give any information on that front.

Selection was very good. 12-15 beers were on-tap, about 8 of which were fairly rare. This is just a notch behind Blue Palms in my opinion.

Value was good. Slightly pricey but nothing too bad.

Overall this was a very interesting place that I would have enjoyed visiting even without the good beer. Worth a stop.

If you are in Hollywood, this is a nice place to get a good pint or 2.

Very nice selection of beers on tap. A lot of the usual suspects and a few surprises too.

Right next to Amoeba records and the Arclight Cinema and down the road from the Hollywood Farmers Market.

They have easy (albeit pricey) parking down below.

The food is much better than Blue Palms so if you are out for dinner/lunch and a coupla pints this is a great bet.

Well worth a visit but it's so close to Blue Palms that if you want to get your beer geek on walk 6 blocks.

I stopped in while in LA on business based on the BA listing.

Boho is a little more upscale than my usual haunts but it's LA and they have good beer so it worked. The front area is well lit and has a variety soft lounge chairs and tables. The back area is darker with the bar and has much more of a pub feel. The décor is varied but it fits together well. They also have a small seating area out front.

I actually started to get used to the posh setting and focused on the beer list. They had 30 or so on tap with lots of CA beers and some from the rest of the US and Europe. Then they had about 13 in the bottle. The list isn't outstanding but it's solid. I went with a Stone XIII Anniversary and a Craftsman Poppyfields. Both were fresh and tasty. They had a half price happy hour going so we paid $13 for four beers!

Boho is definitely a good beer bar and an especially good stop if you can hit happy hour.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this new beer bar/restaurant right in the center of hollywood. However, I had heard that there was going to be a place opening up which would be utilizing the expertise of the Beer manager from "The Verdugo" bar in Glendale, so it wasn't a total surprise to see the comprehensive beer selection offered at Boho.

The beer selection was decent, although I wasn't overly impressed with any item on the list...all beers that could be found at some of the better local beer stores and bars. Nothing on cask, nitro or any special release items, unfortunately (but they had just opened up 3 days prior).

The atmosphere was WEIRD. We walked by the place several times before realizing that the unmarked restaurant with the formally dressed "bouncers/doormen" outside was the place that we were looking for. After walking through the restaurant feeling underdressed (in jeans, a nice black top and high heels), we ended up sitting down at the bar which turned out to be comfortable enough. The bar tender was nice, attentive without being overbearing and we ordered food at the bar. The white pizza w/ arugula was AWESOME!

Lastly, I would just like to address the comment made by [HopHeadLouie] that "BOHO is exactly what Hollywood has been waiting for,..."
...While it is nice to see more quality beer bar/restaurants opening up in this area, the beer/food quality and selection at this new BOHO bar is NOTHING compared to the **BluePalms Brewhouse** which is only 0.54 miles away, also in Hollywood.
