It pours with a puffy white cloud on top of a brilliantly clear pale golden yellow beer. The aroma is yeasty and fruity, slightly citrus.
Sharply carbonated at first, with an immediate peppery zing. First impressions: the pepper up front, and a sturdy bitter finish. It's quite dry and bracing, with hints of honey and malt. The carbonation is brisk, and overall it's a tasty, easy drinking "light" Belgian.
I got this in a four-bottle gift pack with a goblet, for a steal. I'm a sucker for a good promotion.
