From a 330 ml. bottle into a red wine glass. This Blond pours a hazy golden with a thick and soapy white head which slowly collapses upon itself and yields lots of sticky lacing.
Nose is floral, fruity and yeasty. Doesn't give the impression of a lot of sweetness to follow. Quite nice though not highly complex initially, improving notably with some warming and exposing just a hint of alcohol in the end.
Taste is as expected. Pleasant and without the Duvel-like sweetness. In fact I'm a bit at odds of these being the same style. Light, fruity with apple and pear, and with a bit of peppery spice. Full mouthfeel with a well balanced malt structure and with a nice finish. A firm carbonation maintains for the entire glass, allowing for a steady and consistent feel. Very drinkable for the style, though perhaps due to its relatively light weight in the class. Nonetheless, its 7% is virtually unnoticeable on the palate. At $2 a single I'll be heading back for more.
Viewed as a lighter Belgian Pale Ale vs. BSPA for comparison and given its body and structure.

250ml bottle served in a snifter glass.
A: Pours a clear golden yellow color forming a big and very bubbled white head. Good retention and lots of molasses and lingering lacings left in the glass
S: Strong notes of honey. Quite spicy and fruity too. Notes of caramel malts, coriander, candy sugar, grapes and bready Belgian yeasts. Light notes of flowery hops and bubblegum
T: Sweet upfront. Strong notes of honey, caramel malts, sweet pale malts, coriander and sweet bread. Fruity. Notes of grapes. Notes of flowery hops and bubblegum. Light bitterness. Hops have grassy and a bit citrus profile
M: Medium body. Molasses. Medium bitterness. Bittersweet aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Strong Belgian character
