This isn't a bad Belgian ale.
A: Light golden with way too much head. Poured very cold on the side of the glass ended up with a full 4 fingers worth - I could barely pour this stuff.
S: Smells fruity and slightly bitter.
T: First, the bitter hits, which isn't so bad - the hops actually taste pretty good. Then, you taste the alcohol, which is bearable, but a little strong tasting for me. The alcohol gets in my nose easily half-way down (probably has something to do with the carbonation). The aftertaste is more pleasant than some other pale ales, with the taste of the surprisingly nice-tasting hops slowly waning.
M: Goes astringent quickly, leaving a nice crisp feeling. Very dry finish. It's so foamy that the bubbles linger in your mouth after swallowing.
D: Very drinkable. Could probably drink another fairly easily, and at this ABV, I would be a bit intoxicated if I did.
One of my favorite pale ales (I'm not a big fan of the style...)
