Notes/Commercial Description:
Did someone say hops??
First we took English pale & crystal malts then added layers of Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade hops right through the boil, hop back and as the first dry hop in the fermenter. That is where the fruity American ale yeast worked its magic. Then it was off to cold conditioning for a couple of week where it was sampled by the brewers (numerous times) before they decided on the formula for the dry hops in the bright beer tank! There you have it: by combining the finest English malt, American yeast and inspiration with the best Kiwi hops and ingenuity we created Our International Pale Ale.

listed as an EPA more due to body profile to me.
NZ Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops used
NZ hops, US yeast and UK malts

A-- Poured a darker, yet near clear, orange amber color. Half finger of white film at first but on swirling got a nice one and a half finger of bright white head. Nice thick head and good body to it. Finally fell back to film and left thick soapy spotty lacing. Just small bubbles of visible carbonation.

S-- Fresh bread, caramel, orange and white grape. Good backbone in the nose. Nice fresh orange smell that follows the caramel.

T-- Follows the nose but loses the grape. Still very bright and fresh but malt really dominates this. Still quite nice.

M-- Very malt dominated. Good long lasting orange and caramel finish. Very bright but lacks the hop bite to smooth it out. Still good though. Light carbonation and medium bodied.

O-- Nice pale ale, IPA, whatever. not a bad beer at all. Well rounded and well balanced beer.
