The Iron Abbey is a welcome addition not only to Horsham, but to the wider Philadelphia area drinking scene. This bar features over 200 bottles of beer and has a great selection of rotating beers on tap. (Where else can you get St. Bernardus Abt. 12 draft???) The atmosphere is homey and inviting with a nice stout bar, lots of wood and soft lighting. The food is excellent--I would try the nachos for a snack and if you're looking for something a big more substantial, try the burgers or the pork tenderloin sandwich. It can be a bit hard to get a beer at times especially when it gets a bit crowded, but the selection is definitely worth the wait. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to give their suggestions on selections. Large bottles, magnum sized I guess, of the three Chimays are available for parties to share. It's quite impressive to see a bunch of guys sitting around sharing one of these monsters. The Iron Abbey also hosts beer dinners and sports (particularly soccer) are featured on the televisions along with various specials to go along with these events. Great place, is my new home away from home.
