Stopped by here while having business in Bill port on a Tuesday night. Wanted a late nightcap after hitting Bullfrog Brewpub. By the time I made it to Wegmans they were about to close the beer section. Noticed quit a good selection varying by region around the world and US. Had a decent little PA only section. Found some Otto pub beers really cheaply priced so I went with 4 of those. Total came to $16.49 - not bad at all being from Philly and looking for some takeout bottle IMO.

This place isn't by any means a beer destination, but if you're looking for a small stash for your hotel room or looking for some PA locals def check it out. Otherwise, still not a bad beer selection at rather on par prices with most other places.

Q-Funny seeing a Wegmans in the middle of a city. But it's nice for where it is located.

S- Service was ok was pretty busy. And it was at night which is odd but in the city u know the freaks come out at night.

S- Beer selection is decent but they have to local beers I don't see my way and that Bavarian Barbarian and Otto's. Both of their beer were very responsible and that is good for me.

V- good like I said beer selection is decent but I was looking for Local breweries and found them and I'm happy.

Made a quick stop in before hitting Bullfrog just a few blocks away - Wegmans is just off the highway and quite convenient. It's a grocery first and foremost, and this was my first visit to one, but I'd place it somewhere between a Fresh Market and a Whole Foods.

In any case, the beer selection isn't anything to write the Bros about, but makes a nice place to scoop some local selections when passing through/by. Off the top of my head, these were Otto's, Bavarian Barbarian, Fegley's, and Sly Fox. There's a small singles selection, but mixing a full six may (or may not) be required. There was a good deal of wide-distro stuff, as well as some imports, but they received only a glance. Prices on the local stuff were pretty damn cheap.

Service was typical grocery store - might be able to find a beer buyer around if you try, but otherwise nonexistent.

Be sure to check out at the register near the beer section, as you can't do so at the registers up front.

The beer spot they have set up at wegmans is good, quality is just a bit above, a really great setup and selection, you cannot beat the selection and setup. Service is average, I personally do not expect them to know the beers, you have to know what you want coming in or just be open for options. Selection is actually very good, just enough good beers to keep you coming back. I've picked up some decent rogue, etc, put the gotta get the better in state brews. Prices are not great, more than likely a product of the envrionment or just the setup, otherwise this place has great potential.

This place was a pleasant surprise on a recent weekend work trip to Williamsport.

If you are looking for Founders (which I was) they have an excellent variety including: Breakfast Stout, Imperial Stout, Backwoods, Centennial IPA, Red's Rye, Dirty Bastard and Double Trouble. They also had a great variety of Breckenridge and Smuttynose as well as a decent variety from the liked of Victory, Sierra Nevada, Troeg's, etc.

The also carry a good variety of local beer such as Bavarian Barbarian and Otto's and quite a few bombers, which included a few Stone offerings and a good variety of Belgian beer, among others.

Overall a good place to stop for a couple of 6 packs if you happen to find yourself in Williamsport.

We usually stop in here whenever we're in town, as it just a block or so down from the Bullfrog. There is a pretty good PA-centric selection of craft beers here, including selections from Sly Fox, Tröegs, Weyerbacher, Erie, Appalachian, Stoudts, and Victory. This is also great place to also pick up bombers of more local selections from Otto's and hometown Bavarian Barbarian. On our most recent visit, we have noticed that they've actually kicked their up selection a notch with multiple offerings from Smuttynose, Breckenridge, and Founders, which was a most welcome surprise.

Prices are very reasonable and I right in line with what I would pay in a grocery or liquor store out of state and put the prices of a lot of bottle shops to shame. Heck, they recently had 4-packs of Founders Imperial Stout and Backwoods Bastard for $7.99 a piece. That's a least $2-4 dollars less then what I would pay in OH, VA, or NC for the same thing! I haven't had much experience here with any kind of assistance per say but our checkout person is always courteous and they have no problem at all breaking up your haul into multiple charges to comply with the 2 six-pack carryout law.

This is a worthy stop whether you're hanging out in Bill-Town for the day or just passing through, to stock up a multitude of good singles and six-packs. Like I said before, I was impressed with the quality of their new selections on our latest visit and am hoping that it only gets better and better from here.

A good place to pick up beer in the state, and certainly if visiting Bullfrog or Bavarian Barbarian, as its a short walk. Sold in the cafe part, you cannot pay for it in the regualr Wegman. Decent selection compared to other restaurants in the state, although mediocre compared to other states that actually can sell you a single bottle. Liked it because people are friendly in this town, and because of its selection of local stuff. Lots of Ottos because the brewer used to brew at Bullfrog is a nice touch.

Stopped by after lunch at Bullfrog.

Quality: Several coolers line dining area, loaded with six packs of both macro and craft breweries. A rather plentiful selection that I'm not accustomed to seeing in PA.

Service: Check-out was fast, scrutinizing my ID and shooing my boy away from the bottle. I didn't seek out or require any help.

Selection: The six pack focus was on PA micros, with Troegs, Victory, Stoudt's, Erie and Appalachian featured prominently. Plenty of macros in multiple varieties. My eye was immediately drawn to the dinner bottles of Ommegang and bombers of Otto's and Bavarian Barbarian. I'd heard that Bavarian Barbarian was bottling, so I was stoked to grab the Hammerin' Ale and Weldsplatter IPA, both for right around $4 a bomber.

The selection won't set the world on fire but for sheer volume of choices, it can't be beat.
