probably not as bad as indicated here, but a rather plain take on the style. the pour from the brown flip top bottle is the best feature, developing almost a nitro looking cream head above a bronze tinted liquid. the nose is sweet, like fresh baked desserts all lined up. pie crust flavors also abound, with minimal hop presence and a bit of unfermented sugar left over in the finish. nothing off or offensive in my bottle. not sure why such low scores for this here. medium body, it drinks pretty well, but the finish is quite sweet. fine carbonation and the head has lasted roughly the whole glass. not everyday I get to drink beer from france, so this was a treat, despite being a relatively ordinary brew.
