A: Black with a dark tan head, thin ring of retention shows some nice leg.
S: Bakers chocolate, brown sugar, dark rum, sherry,
T: Chocolate, oak, rum, caramelized raisins, cherries, roasted nut, vanilla, citrus rind, solid bitterness, not too roasty, exquisite. A bit like a boozy plum pudding with a caramalized sauce that's just beginning to burn.
M: Well-attenuated moderate body has hints of roasted acidity & chalk, modest carbonation with a drying alcohol finish.
O: Very nice.

"Wreckoning Russian Imperial Stout is a big luscious brew aged on oak then aged some more allowing the flavours to mature. It screams Bourbon and Port notes then quickly settles into an amazing complexity of flavour, layer after layer. Dried fruit, vanilla, oak, cherries, dark caramel and chocolate to start with superb tannin balance. Served nitrogenated through a sparkler faucet.
Enjoy.
