A - Pours a slightly hazy light orange with a one inch off-white head with good retention.

S - Fruity, citrus, tropical, with lots of citra, very nice.

T - Light pine, citrus, and tropical fruits.

D - Good carbonation with a light body.

O - Good nose and flavors, but very light and subtle. Sessionable Citra?

I drank this beer after 2 other IPAs, so perhaps the score would be higher had I consumed it first. Mostly clear, thin head with streak lacing. Diminished quickly. The aroma is citrus and pine, herbal notes & bread. Flavor is grapefruit, pine, grass, and bread malt. Fairly well balanced and medium body. Dry finish with a hops bite. Not a bad IPA, but not spectacular.

Clear gold with light orange tint. One finger of off white head. Clumps of lace.
Smell is dank pungent hops.
Taste is green dank hops. A touch of grapefruit zest. Good amount of malt support.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is medium dry and bitter.
Overall a tasty and interesting brew. Complex hops flavors.

22 oz. bottle:

Pours hazed orange-tinted copper with a thin lasting head that leaves trailing lace.

The smell is of musty lemongrass, some dank grapefruit. Mild. Pleasant.

The taste is of tropical fruits, grass, black pepper. Soft bitter bite in the finish.

It has a smooth medium body. Alcohol is well-integrated. Nicely carbonated.

I like how the malt controls the bitterness but stays in a supportive role to the hop character. Smooth and easy to drink.

Golden/amber - clear with solid carbonation, a 1 inch off-white bubbly head, receding slowly, leaving a splotchy lacing. Aroma is citrus with a hint of pine. Nicely balanced flavor with citrus, bready malts, some piney bitterness at the front, getting stronger through the middle and into the finish. Moderate feel - not thin, not thick. A nice, but not really remarkable, IPA. I enjoyed it, and would not avoid buying it. No specific faults, just kind of middle of the pack.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam, a good lace on the glass and a good effervescence. Classic.

Smell: lightly sweet aroma; hops are green and floral and a little bit citrusy.

Taste: a little bit deeper and danker than the aroma, with the hops grassier and more autumnal. Still quite a nice IPA.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: a very decent IPA indeed. It definitely goes down smooth; while it's not perfect, I quite like it.
