750mL purchased from Bottles last year. Split 2 years. This is the 3 year anniversary (since this is the blend of cherry and raspberry unlike the Sole Comp.)
A: Murky clay-brown. Lacing ends up with a ring of Saturn torn out of the middle. Not pretty by a long shot, but it'll do.
N: Stinging raspberries, acetone, vinegar, cherry, and oak. Oak is composed of a general woodiness. Not a penetrating smell by any mans. Floral elements abound as dust an attic mustiness.
T: Quite sour. Cherries are in concert with the raspberries - neither dominate. Lemon juice concentrate, tannic oakiness, some soapiness, and a lot of horse blanket and attic dust. Clementine oranges that were soaked in vinegar.
M: Surprisingly light and somewhat watery.
O: An enjoyable beer, but it's not a stand out in an crowded field. I miss the original's burst of fruit, so this might get unfairly downgraded because of that aspect. A balanced beer and not one to disappoint, but it's not their best. (Though, I don't find most of Upright's sours to be top tier.)

750ml bottle poured into a snifter.
A: Murky but vibrant red/orange/slightly brown beer with a small white head.
S: Funky and acidic. TONS of raspberry, with citrusy sourness. Lots of lactic acidity.
T: BURST of raspberry. WOW, this is like a kick of raspberry to the face. Mild funkiness and lots of lactic sourness. A bit of oakiness.
M: Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Slightly dry finish.
O: This is a very nice sour. I loved the raspberry flavors in this. Upright is doing some excellent stuff.

Dark raspberry in color with a quickly forming, persistent, light pink head that leaves irregular spiderwebs and spots of lace down the glass. A gorgeous beer.
A very well rounded, integrated, lovely aroma: fresh raspberries, some mild hay and barnyard funk, along with some definite lactic sourness.
The flavor is similar to the aroma, and is delicately layered, intricate, and well-rounded: fresh raspberries, earth, moderate sourness, and some very mild barnyard and hay. No flavor is particularly dominant, and this is exceptionally drinkable.
A master of mouthfeel. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, but velvety. The flavor melt away yet come together exceptionally well.
I was very impressed with this one.

Appearance. Pours a deep peachy-amber with some haze and a thin white head.
Smell. Floral, sour berries, cherries , and even some peaches with a bunch of nice woody funk. Yum.
Taste. Sour fruits, mainly red berries, cherry, and vinegar. Some dank funk and old wood. Quite dry.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, medium-low fine carbonation.
Overall. Not as tasty as I had hoped. I liked Four Play much better, but still a fine sour.

Bottle: Poured a hazy reddish color ale with a light pink color head with good retention and some minimal lacing. Aroma consists of fresh tart raspberries with some oak and light acidic notes. Taste is dominated by tart raspberries notes with some oak and light tart cherries with a light vinous finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Loads of complexity in this beer while retaining a great level of drinkability with great refreshing notes.
