Undated bottle at 42 degrees into snifter
$ 6/bomber at Blackwell’s
Aroma weak – a little caramel malt, some citrus hops – gone before end of glass
Head small (two cm, aggressive pour), light brown, frothy, diminishing to irregular seven to twelve mm creamy ring and partial frothy layer
Lacing excellent – complete wide rings of tiny to medium bubbles
Body medium reddish-brown, murky
Flavor – malt with some rye spiciness and ends with a little hop bitterness, well balanced; no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate medium, watery, soft carbonation
Appearance 4, Aroma 3.5, Flavor 4, Palate 4, Overall 3.75

Pours a half finger of head on a dark brown body.
The aroma is rich with rye, wood and spice.
The taste starts with a nice malt sweetness, then turns a little lemon bitter, rye spice finish.
The texture is soft and airy with a little fizz.
An outstanding ale. Great balance and flavor.

Pours a nice shade of red. Grass, rye and citrus notes. Decent balance with a touch creaminess but still aggressive
