Usual color, light orange, carbonation just right. Good aroma, a little bit of everything, citrus, bitter, tropical. Just what citra is supposed to deliver.

Nice soft touch for being 100 ibu and 7.8%, was skeptical of this being at a single ipa festival, but thankfully, it wasn't one of those harsh bitter dipas that doesn't have a good hop mouthfeel. Columbus bittering, citra and centennial for flavoring, citra and cascade in the dry hop. Sounds like a classic hop recipe to me. Seemed to have less caramel, more crystal malt going on. Fine with me.

Ale Industries is making some good stuff, based on what I've had the last couple of times at the bistro.

Had this at EJ Phair Alehouse. It poured a bright and cloudy golden color, almost approaching orangey. Roma was of sharp hop and citrus. A sharp hop bite at every sip made this a good drinkable IPA. Lacing on glass was o.k. Didn't seem like a double IPA and the strength of the beer is well hidden. Good beer from a close by brewery.

Served in a pint glass at Toronado SF 8-21-2012

A: Cloudy with good lacing

S: floral, citrus, grassy

T: smooth hop punch with tropical tones. true west coast ipa with a fine balance of malt..not too dry or sweet

M: very complex and leaves you wanting more.

O: coats the tongue with a flavor profile that is typical with citra hops that is not overdone. alc. is very well hidden and discreet.

On tap at the brewery.

Pours a hazy yellow with a nice bright white head with above average lacing. The aroma is very hop forward with a nice hoppy smell with some background grapefruit and mango in the mix. The taste is spot on! A very nice bite on each sip. A hop-a-saurs taste with a nice lingering bitter background. A slight tinge of sweetness on the swallow but this is quite hoppy and I am digging it! Very drinkable as I took two down easily and was thirsty for another. Overall I say find it if you can as this is a fast seller and I now know the reason why. Great stuff that I hope gets bottled someday but even then it may not transfer over well. Nice to live close to to Concord and the brewery.
