Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #37 (Feb 2010):
Bubbly and bright pale golden color; sizable head is stacked on top. Citric zest, fresh-cut hay and a mild fruitiness make up the aroma. This beer wields extremely refreshing crispness; light body for a Pale Ale, but that does not show on the taste buds. Quick smack of light tartness to kick things off. Biscuity, doughy malt drops a thick dry layer of flavor to provide a good base for the hops to ping off of. Bitterness is at a perfectly balanced level; citric herbal flavor follows. There is a subtle astringency in the finish from the malt, but it doesn't amount to much.
Of the lighter Pale Ales, this one sits in the middle of the pack--and it's a big pack to be a part of. Light and refreshing may be two good selling points that may separate it from the rest. Good drinking.
