Poured from a 12FL. OZ. bottle into a pint glass. Bottled OCT 2013.

Appearance: Pours a dark amber body with a thick white soapy head.

Smell: Fresh pine, caramel, and tropical fruits. I smell coconut.

Taste: Piney bitterness. Not as tropical fruit flavored as I remember. A full flavored IPA that gets better as it warms.

Mouthfeel: Light but with a nice bitter aftertaste. Juicy and resinous.

Overall: I've had this on tap at the brewery and it is a completely different animal. The bright orange fruit flavor is missing in the bottled version. A slight disappointment, but good nonetheless.

A: orange/amber, slightly translucent, light head, minimal lacing
S: sharp hops, citrus, clean
T: bitter, grapefruit, pine, a bit sweet
M: light body, smooth but with a strong bite
O: A solid IPA (not my favorite style), a bit simple to my palate, but well-balanced
