12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance: Pours a golden yellow color with some orange highlights, topped with a finger of white head, speckled with more orange tints that quickly dissolved into a thin lacing of foam that covered the entire top of the beer.
Aroma: Malty and citrusy, like a piece of bread topped with orange marmalade. Floral notes of freshly cut grass and clover finish the aroma.
Taste: Malty, citrusy and floral. Fresh bread up front, followed by citrus notes of oranges, grapefruit and star fruit. Slight sweetness, like candied sugar, finished by some nicely balanced hops.
Mouthfeel: Medium with some good carbonation to tickle the taste buds.
Overall: Nicely crafted beer with some good citrus and hops that provide a good, refreshing beer.

Amber colored brew in the 14 oz "pint" shaker. Virtually no head. Fairly subdued carbonation. The flavor, however, is fairly robust for a Blonde. Some malt, but not very sweet. More of a watered-down Pale Ale, though not really crisp. Still, it's a drinkable and tangy quaff with a nice splash of hops.
This actually tastes better as it warms up. More tart and less flabby than a lot of Blondes. On tap at RFD in Washington, DC.
